You can call it a Peter Pan Evaluation for all I care! The commish has said in your own article he is not committing to anything until they are evaluated. He then went on to say the evaluation is a priority and needs done. Your own link puts it in black and white.

Yeap, that's what Ive been saying all along. Nothing in what the commissioner said requires Pouncey or Jerry to take any action. A "medical evaluation" doesn't necessarily require Pouncey or Jerry to do anything, if it was even allowed by the NFLPA. And even Jerry confirmed to the NY media he was not asked to do one. Tom Coghlin confirmed that he called the NFL office about it, and there was no suspensions looming. But hey, I guess they could be liars.

He also said he wants them done, his wording is him being a lawyer speaking grey area lawyer talk. Look at how he answered the Rice and Haslem questions, vague with no commitment or substance.

As far as Pouncey is concerned it has been confirmed he must be evaluated before being allowed to play. He could simply do his team a favor and spend his down time on a shrinks couch instead of tootsies. He obviously needs the guidance it doesn't have to be looked upon as a bad thing.

Well as I pointed out the NFLPA agreed to the Peter Pan Evaluations and I really don't see why they wouldn't. They had to represent the accused and the accuser which makes me sure they took the approach of finding a middle ground that left the accused with their career intact if the report did not have definitive damaging findings. I am sure they negotiated with the league best and worst case scenario's. Drawing from my own experiences that is usually what happens in harassment claims, you workout a deal that if there is no smoking gun a minor show of force is ordered.
