I try not to be biased but that kid has yet to show me he can do any one single thing better than meh.I wasn't worried until you included Krafts boy, Mac and Cheese....

Pat and Sam could have benefitted from team success. They certainly were in the category of a Ronde Barber while they were playing, but lack the association with a championship team or notable defense in tge grand scheme of things.Good call. Though the guys we have now both have legitimate HOF shots. I’m sure it exists but I’m having a hard time coming up w such a high profile duo since that Raiders pairing
Agreed. In hindsight they are probably underrated / under appreciatedPat and Sam could have benefitted from team success. lets hold on HOF corner tandem....Let hope for at least Surtain & MadisonOur CB duo - on paper - might be the best tandem since the Raiders fielded Lester Hayes and Mike Haynes (acquired via trade) which they rode to 2 SB wins the early 80’s IIR.
Ramses the Great and Professor X - I hereby dub them. Yes, I know they both may be a little past their primes but they both make plays. They get turnovers. They score TDs. They change the outcome of games.
Serious question - besides Hayes and Haynes, what tandems would you put up there w these guys?

Most here would take that - those guys were studslets hold on HOF corner tandem....Let hope for at least Surtain & Madison
Albert Lewis and Kevin RossKC had some great CB's in the 80's tho I can’t remember their names now......maybe Deron Cherry was one of them
You have heard of the Patriots haven't you???View attachment 135317
Man those Raiders teams were not only the dirtiest in football, the broke every rule made and had new rules made because of them lol
Good thing Don sat on the competition committee lol
Also shows why the trade could be huge for Miami. I think winning the AFC East is the key. It's going to be difficult to get a wildcard berth out of the division. In fact, 11-6 might win the division.Sheesh. Well, not to be grim but there’s the likelihood that some of these guys miss games due to inevitable injuries etc. But yeah, we have our work cut out for us
Great question. Ramsey is more physical than X. I’m wondering if it will be dictated by matchup style / type ?Question: Who take WR#1 X or Ramsey or do they just stay on their side and take whoever lines up there ?
I was at that Wildcard game at Pro Player….January 1991…they (Ross/Lewis) shut down Dan through three quarters…until they didn’t. That was dicey…good memory there brother....they had a great secondary
Haha - well the Raiders were the original asshat cheaters I guess. Kraft, Belicheat and the Deflator took it to a whole other levelYou have heard of the Patriots haven't you???
Albert Lewis still wakes up at night in a cold sweat over that 95 yard pick 6 - whoops - 9 yard TD pass to Clayton to win the gameI was at that Wildcard game at Pro Player….January 1991…they (Ross/Lewis) shut down Dan through three quarters…until they didn’t. That was dicey…
