It's time to cut Feeley

LOL AJ played horrid last nite, that I do not dispute. But so has Gus. Sorry 2/3 doesnt change that. He went 9 for 25 last week after having a good first series. You can project hius stats all you want, but fact is he generally got worse as teh game went on in each game he started. Oh and I say that but believe Gus should start.

My point is, if you say AJ should get cut based on performance in one game, Gus should have been cut in teh 1st cuts.

Yeah I know you have a myriad of excuses ready. I CANT wait to read thse "facts".

I think it was AJs turn.. both QB have seesawed back and forth on the level of garbage play they can muster.
Gus was obviously Linehans man.. Could Couch be a serious consideration? Or Davey?

bahaha.. Its like a New Orleans mob mentality in here.. If you want to cut AJ for a crappy performance, Gus should be cut too.. Keep Sage as first string and sign Brock and Rohan as backups.

Why not, would it really make a damn bit of difference?

WE NEED A QB!!!! I've said it all along, until the office and staff wake up and draft a QB we are in for a long ride. As far as AJ, lose 1.1 or save 3 million. The fins would be crazy to keep him. See ya AJ.

At this point what do you have to lose? It suks that it has come to that.

That's where you are wrong...it'll cost us $$1.1 against the cap...
thank you, you just saved me a lot of time searching the internet for that figure.

i think he will be riding the pine for most of the season, and not cut.

I think next year it may be realistic to say neither Gus nor AJ could be here.

I agree..... I was really hoping that Feeley was going to work out.... but he is what he is... For some sick feeling I think Couch has a chance at retribution here.

I am an AJ supporter. He played like crap last night and I think we need to embrace that we are in for a long season again. However, if you start cutting the QB's who have performed poorly off of this roster, we would have none left. Sorry I can not get all juiced up over Sage because he was playign the very bottom of the roster. When he played against number ones last year he looked no better than the rest of these perennial bench warmers.

Why is ti a sick feeling. Hell, at least you know you are starting from scratch again and have a shot at finding a possible QB. We know what we have now, and it isn't getting any better over time.

I somewhat feel vindicated. I feel like my constant posting that AJ is what he is considering he is a 5 year vet....may finally have proved the Feeley backers I was right.

Can somebody punch Spielman in the mouth for me? I really hate to say it but I'm starting to miss Fiedler.

I agree with Couch. If his arm is healthy. He wasnt as horrid in Clev as thse 2 have been in preseason. He was asked to come in from day 1 and carry ateam, while learning to play in a pro system. He played from the shotgun exclusively in college with 4receiver sets mainly. Then in an expansion team he is starting. He was mismanaged in Clev.

No I am NOT saying Couch is a savoir and will be great. But factoring in what is on this roster, he may not be a bad risk to take at this point.

I guess everyone here wanted GB to cut Farve last year when he threw 4 picks in that one game?! Don't get me wrong, AJ played HORRIBLE. He definitely does not deserve to start, but it was a bad game. Everyone has a bad day.

I was very discouraged by how he played. It seemed like every bit of progress he made in the last few games was just thrown away and he went back to early last year.

Regardless, IF our QB's play like they did last night during the season... we may only win 2 or 3 games. That was terrible.

I too have been saying over and over that AJ is a vet and every camp has an opportunity to showcase his talent.. Just like every player on the bubble last night.

Last night i believe was his defining moment in a Phins uniform.. and perhaps the NFL... Feeley has had a lion share of the snaps the last 3 games. Yes Gus started.. But AJ played the majority of snaps.

Hes been given every opportunity to make a statement...And now he has. Unfortunately.:(
