yeah not worried about it right now. Troy Polamalu and Casey Hampton are put on the PUP quite a bit by the Steelers (Hampton cause he's normally too big) but they're always ready for week 1.
Yes he can. In fact he is in the starting lineup this morning and Armando has said every shotgun snap has been clean.
if you are on the pup doesnt that mean you miss regular season games too?
The fact that Jake is at practice doing rehab work on the side is encouraging. I would feel real bad about his regular season status if he was missing from the field and they said they sent him to a specialist. It is possible he could be on PUP(if he is even on it to begin with) for a few days or maybe just a week.
With 48 starts and 3 Pro Bowls later, we still have people questioning the pick? And what the heck is the point your trying to insinuate? That skilled position players drafted high don't get hurt? Or are you reaching for something to criticize the front office over?
No. Between now and the regular season he can be taken off PUP at any time. They can take him off tomorrow if they really want to.Does this mean hes out for the first six weeks?

Sparano said today the goal is for him to be ready for Week 1.
