Jake Long put on PUP list

LOL... Well im definitely not going to a game this year. This pretty much ensures that TS will be gone next season and puts us at the top in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.

Long isn't supposed to miss any regular season games. Did I miss something? :unsure:
 
it's also being reported that it's his knee. the one that got rolled up last preseason and scoped during the season (and didn't cause him to miss any time). not the shoulder. with the way he's swinging that rehab ball, the shoulder is fine.
 
I thought if you were on the PUP, you had to miss the first 6 games? Or am I thinking of something else?
 
if you are on the PUP at the start of the season you have to miss the first 6 weeks (so that would be 5 games for us because of the bye week). you can come off preseason PUP at any time.

The Jake Long worry is this ...

Is this just some injury he picked up & will heal up being a young guy?

OR ... Is this his chronic injury that bothered him all last season, had the off-season to heal ... now its back???

Gotcha.. I thought once you were on that was it until week 6.
 
I hope Long is fully healthy by week 1 we going to need him cause our o line atm is not looking to good :/
 
ehhh...its still very early...we got plenty of time before we'd have to put him on the pup list that means he can't play for 6 weeks of the season...something to monitor though no doubt

right now he's just not practicing while he rehabs...come preseason week 3 if he's not gotten into pads yet then i'd start to worry about his being able to go week 1
