Jake Long put on PUP list

It's not surprising. They ground him to a nub playing him injured last year they way they did. Probably took a year or two off his career.

very possible...scary to think about but could be the case...playin a guy half the season with a torn labrums a bad idea...especially a guy who depends on his arms and extending himself as much as a freakin left tackle...

Relax Dude its just an opinion & I'll be the 1st to say Ive been wrong before but just seems to me that speed or an accurate arm are harder to come by than just being huge...So personally I would never pass over a great QB prospect if I need one to get a OL.
Deep breaths...You will get through this...

Ooookay there buddy. You're the one that's reacting to Long's injury status by saying "see? we shoulda drafted someone else," and I'm the one that's freaking out?

Smart move on their parts as forcing Jake to play possibly saved them their jobs. Imagine Murtha at LT for all those games Jake played with the harness . . . ugh. Fins would have been 4-12.

yeah great move on their parts for THEM...bad move for jake longs long term career...they knew he was a tough old country boy and barring the arm being cut off he was gonna suit up

i admire jake long for sticking it out but from a long term health perspective and career longevity perspective its not a good idea...hell kid could have a bone on bone situation or something now as a result of playin hurt etc

Yea, that is what I mean, smart move for them, bad move for the Fins moving forward as would trading picks that probably wont be theirs.

I guess it could be worse . . . if we went 4-12, we probably would have Jake Locker in camp right now  (though I like Locker, I can imagine the feeding frenzy).

Locker's another one that's going to make a bunch of people have to eat sh*t.... he's going to be fantastic for the Titans as soon as they get finished going through the motions with Hasselbeck..
