Mike Sherman wasn't a scapegoat. He did a poor job and needed to be replaced. The Packers and aTm fans who warned us of what was to come were all absolutely right.
Even many posters on this site who are highly critical of the QB (and I'm not going to name names because I don't want to drag them into it, but if you look you'll find them easily enough) agree that Sherman used his talent poorly and made some baffling decisions.
I challenged junc to stand behind his opinion that the Fins OL was pretty good during the second half of the season before they had made any changes on the OL. I tried to bet him that they would replace the LT, LG, RG, and RT. If they didn't replace 4 of 5 players on a "pretty good" OL, I would ban myself for a year. If they did, he would ban himself for a year. He declined to accept the challenge. Obviously the opinion of those who thought the OL was still crap was proven correct by the actions of the team. Unfazed, junc continues to spout the same nonsense.
