Jason Cole: Marino NOT impressed with Philbin's handling of Tannehill

You never call out the QB in the media. It was foolish but not surprising given what I have seen from Philbin over the last three years. Don't throw fuel on a camp fire and expect things not to turn into a raging inferno by the media and fans. Any changes or thoughts of change at QB come from behind closed doors.

Even that Corky kid from Life goes on could tell us that. Dan, if you ever decide to quit gimme a shout and I'll throw in a resume. What a cheese job.

Funny you bring up Garfinkel. I actually think he's moving that side of the organization in the right direction.

I only hope that Steve Ross is listening to Dan here. Because I think Dan's anger with what's going on with this team is exactly what's needed. Steve Ross needs to get a little pissed off at these clowns.

Steve Ross is the head Clown......

The guy totally throws his QB under the bus. Way to shatter the poor guy's confidence. The different REX was asked if he will bench his QB, his answer "I don't know, I really believe in this team."

Joe should stand by Tannehill but so should the fans don't you think?

Fans can think what they want.

I have stated that they should stay with RT even though I FREELY admit that he is regressing.

I don't have a problem with calling out the QB, but here's the thing:

The way he did it was just weird and it seemed like he had no ****ing clue that that's what he was doing. Because Bill Lazor got up on the podium about 2 minutes later and he seemed really surprised at the question. His actual response was "Well, do you think I'm going to be the coordinator this Sunday?" Right hand, left hand...

Oh, and if anyone saw that presser, awesome moment in which Omar Kelly tried to talk over Barry Jackson and Barry went ballistic on him. Good stuff.

Oh man, I want to see that. I can't let myself watch a whole press conference though.

Did Omar go full throttle pseudo-thug on him and try to shoot him too?

Jesus, what happened to Jason Cole? He looks like Mike Holmgren after a week in France.

Cole needs to lay off the buffet table at games. He's starting to look like the stay puff marshmallow man.

I thought Jackson sounded like a bitch.

Which begs the question as why he was even hired? Philbin is a brutal head coach.

He was hired by an owner that knows nothing about football. This is the reason why you want Marino with this organization, he can sniff out the turds in a way that Ross can't.

Never liked the Joe Philbin hire in the first place, wanted Mike McCoy as HC who is now with the Chargers.

Because Bill Parcells was a genius when it came to great hires for this organization right
