Jeff Fisher is Available..

i wonder how this will effect the qbs in the draft will the titans now keep vince young ?

you and your silly stories..

Parcells hired David lee because he wanted to revolutionize pro football.. THE dolphins spent A LOT of time on it in training camp well before the season.. the players said that... and they planned on using it all along.

save your silly stories. the team sucked in the first 2 weeks under sparano's watch and it was David Lee's ideas that brought the dolphins out of their rut.. not sparano's ideas as he has no ideas.

Right, ok. Go back to jerking it to your Parcells porn.

Only way this is Dolphins related is if Tennessee targets Nolan as their new head coach. Fisher probably is going to sit the year out and find a job next offseason. I said before if Miami doesn't make the playoffs in 2011, I think Ross will clean house. If he does he will have his pick between Fisher, Cowher and Gruden. Though I don't really anticipate a change at head coach next offseason for the Dolphins.

So you think Miami is going to the playoffs next year?

Who cares about records? Lmao. You seem to care. I GUARANTEE that if you were a Titans fan in the mid 90s you would be talking about Fisher the same way you are talking about Sparano now.
Wannstedt had a much better record than both of them in his first 5 years as the Dolphins head coach, why did we let that HOF coach get away????????????????????????? Didn't Dick Jauron also have a 13-3 record with the Bears? Let's send that guy to Canton. Oh by the way, both those coaches are actually smarter than Sparano could ever dream of being. Sparano is an offensive line coach, and a bad one too.

it hurts being schooled eh ?

1) everyone and their mother knows Parcells hired Lee, it was one of his first hires.. When BP was on monday night countdown before coming here, he asked for all the arkansas tapes to study the wildcat.. and he became so intigued by it he told the crew that he was going to use it if he';s back in football

I posted the story of that here two years ago.

Sparano needed his hand held, he didn't do sh*t.. If sparano was bright enough to hire a guy with such ideas it's one thing.. but BP did it for him because sparano needs his hand held for anything and everything..

the sparano hire that you should be proud of is our old ST coach.. sparano admitted he was his hire as they were buddies in JAX.. well when he was fired the dolphins ranked dead last in total special teams.

it was sparano's idea to bring in these castoff Cowboy retread o-linemen.. he admitted to this fact.. well all of Berger, McQuistan, Al Johnson and Mcquistan totally stink.. and o-line is his specialty.

Sparano is indeed a clueless moron and it's comedic gold when people actually think he's a good or decent head coach.

Wannstedt took something good (consistent playoff team) and turned it into dung (4 wins)... Sparano came in to turn around a 1-win team, much like Fisher did (the Oilers were coming off a 2 win season). It took Fisher 5 years of mediocrity before breaking through. You wont even give Sparano 3 years.

Fisher can get a job in Miami

Fisher and the Fish - can he play quarterback?:err:

I'll predict playoffs next year. When someone has thier backs against the wall they usually come out fighting. The safety net is gone (parcells) and I think we come out kicking butt .A good draft and a few free agents will make this possible. I know , I know I'm just waving my pom pom's but you got to start a new season hoping for the best....... not expecting the worst. If not why even follow the team ? Plus next year at this time I'll be the only one to say I told you so :)
Fisher will land on his feet cause he's a good coach.
~~~ GOOOOOOO FINS ~~~
moreover,
The fact that we hired so many stiffs and inexperienced coaches on the offensive staff is an indictment on sparano. I'm sure the good candidates wanted to stay as far away as possible from that clown of a head coach.
luckily for us, Parcells called denver to bring nolan in here.. as nolan alluded to right when he was hired.
this team under sparano would have been 3-13 or 4-12 this year without nolan.
You do know BP was responsible for ALL football operations including who was hired right?
I'm not sure how you can form an opinion on the staff before you have even seen them in action, but I suppose you can predict the future. I do not know whether it will be successful, and some moves give me pause, but I know that no good comes out of your defeatist attitude.
Anyway, hurry, I think there is a Parcells retrospective on the NFL Network tonight. Get your lube and tissues ready!
that doesn't change the fact that David Lee's implementaion of the wildcat was more responsible for the 2008 season than anything Sparano did.
that was the point.
And of course Sparano needed his hand held.
