States that both the GM and HC are in trouble if they do not make the playoffs.

States the new coach will want to turn over the roster because of the locker room issues and that could take two years.

I am depressed.

John Clayton is such a rocket scientist!

What locker room issues? You mean the one where we are just not very good talent wise? anything else at this point is hearsay and will reserve judgement on whether a real problem exists or this is just a case of an immature young man not knowing how to handle adversity. From all accounts, the FINS have the protocols in place, Martin chose to take a different path. Really, other than SF and Colts, do you really think another locker room wants this guy in there? Oh so ready for this shyte to be over.....

I'd actually like Scott Pioli.

He brought a plethora of talent to KC they just had ****ty ass coaches.

actually most of KC's better players were not brought in by Pioli. He gave them Eric Berry, Justin Houston and Dontari Poe... oh and Tyson Jackson. Tamba Hali, Brandon Flowers, Brendan Albert, Dwyane Bowe, Derrick Johnson, and Jamaal Charles were Carl Peterson and Herm Edwards

Correction: manziell should win the Heisman again. But, they would rather give it to a guy on a team with a better record. TAMU's dreadful defense will cost manziell. Plus, the media hates him

Good point..

Manziel is the best player in college football. If Miami's new GM drafts him I would **** bricks

To be fair the 3 he brought in our there 3 best defensive players besides Johnson.

How many of you believe that firing the coach every two years is how you build a winner?

Did Philbin miss any tackles in the run game last night? How many blocks did he miss? Is he the reason Wallace cant run a short route or catch a football?

NO, but did you notice how unprepared the team was just like vs buffalo? did you see the lack of fight from this team and terrible playcalling on offense? These are the reason he needs to go. He is constatnly out coached and never makes good in game adjustments. His is in way over his head, remind me of Camoron.

Remember who helped remove the best players from the team? Philbin. Marshall was traded, so was vontae davis, the lb's, your kidding yourself if you think philbin had no input in those decisions.

Have you seen how unprepared they have looked against the bills and yesterday. Good coaches usually win coming off a bye, philbin got horribly out coached. The team also has no fight in them, much like their coach.

The team did start slow, but part of that was Tampa coming out fired up for s big Ring of Honor game. Still not sure how that's all Philbin's fault.

I didn't see a lack of fight, in fact I saw a team that kept fighting from 15 points down to take the lead in the second half. Not sure how you call that a lack of fight.

We did seem to make some adjustments vs the run in the second half, and stop them better, until late in the game when our defense was gassed and they gave up the final TD drive.
And I didn't notice any particularly bad play calls, except of course the ones that don't work :) can you tell me some specific play calls you thought were bad?

Jeff Ireland had everything he could ask for this offseason. Tons of $$$ for FA and loads of draft picks and this is what he gave us…

And to take the iceing off the cake , here we are in very very bad need for OL help and this was no surprise , Ireland knew this WAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY B 4 the trade Deadline was over , and on top of that here we are with 20+ mil under the cap as i speak , and he did NOTHING to help Tannehill , any good GM Coach , would have not sit on there asses with the trade deadline and 20+mil and not lift a finger to address the problem , IMHO they all Need to be fired , thats just plain Stupid , and they Cant make ANY excuses , that they didnt have any money or they couldnt make a trade , anything was possible at that time , and they blew it .

Joe is a bad coach. He regressed from last year.

I think this loss hurt Ireland/Philbin chances a lot. Ross, himself, may say I want to give them a chance, but any of his unbiased advisors, will say, when is enough, enough?
I do think there is some chance Philbin returns, but it's slim.
Ireland is all but gone, I think even Ross is not blind to this anymore.

Good thing our new CEO just came from running a second rate baseball team. I'm sure he's going to be chock full of great advice for Steve Ross.

damn. Really? why would you support philbin at this point? Are you guys afraid we're going to lose more games without philbin as a head coach? are you afraid of another bully-gate? man up there is no downside at this point to having a new headcoach. we can't get any worse.

I think the problem is Ross. We were 11-5 in the Tuna first yr, Ross buys the team and Tuna snatches the money off the table and runs....Ross bought this team for one reason make some money off the sale.....did you hear him speak at halftime? I lost all confidence that this guy will hire the right GM to fix this franchise....he came across as the guy who knows nothing about football or his players...I bet his conversation with Martin tomorrow will be his first with him besides the polite good morning or good game.....I bet he doesn't know what position Richie plays, he just knows he's on the OL....when he says he will make changes after the investigation and in his next sentence basically says I love our coach makes me think his mind is made up on who stays or goes regardless of the investigation....How many owners would let the NFL fix there problem? Can you see Jerry or Kraft letting the NFL come in and tell you how to clean this up? Ross has no clue except what this team is worth today and what it was worth when he bought it......first chance he gets this thing is on the market with a 4 sale sign on it......the quicker this happens the better.

turning over the roster meant getting rid of Brandon Marshall, if we don't make the playoffs, we will have hell to pay with the salary cap getting rid of guys like wallace and and wheeler.

I don't think we have to turn the roster over. Andy reid didn't he just added a few pieces.

it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to know that our firs 4 picks should be OT-OG-DT-OT
