Just found our future OC.

I'll bet Kubiak has non-compete at the NFL level, for the last year of his contract.

Helluva OC though
NFL[edit]
Assistant coach[edit]
Kubiak won his first Super Bowl serving as the quarterbacks coach for the San Francisco 49ers in 1994,[5] guiding Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young to one of his best seasons. Young received his second NFL MVP and captured Super Bowl XXIX MVP honors by throwing a record six touchdowns in San Francisco’s 49–26 win over the San Diego Chargers.
Offensive Coordinator[edit]
Kubiak went to the Broncos the following season when Mike Shanahan, who was previously the 49ers offensive coordinator, became Denver's head coach.[6] In 11 seasons (1995–2005) as the team's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Kubiak helped lead Denver to two Super Bowl titles.
In his 11 seasons with the team, the Broncos amassed 66,501 total yards and 465 touchdowns, the most in the NFL during that span. He coached 14 different Broncos that made the Pro Bowl, including running back Terrell Davis, who was named the NFL MVP in 1998.

Gary Kubiak

you are giving him credit for Steve Young throwing all those Tds against an overmatched Charger team in the SB? Shanahan ran those Denver O's. I have always felt Kubiak was vastly overrated.

He got 2 rings as redskins OC

w/ 2 different QBs and 2 almost completely different offenses.

Thats as HC. HC and OC are two completely different roles. He would be extrememly succesful as an OC
they have had top tier talent and have never done anything in postseason w/ 2 home WC wins over Cincy. this team should have made a couple of postseasons before 2011 and had the talent to make SBs. I am not a fan of Kubiak.

Seriously? He has one of the most bland offenses in the league.

Houston's ranked in the top half of the league on offense since 2007. They've been in the top 4 three of those years. How many times can you say that about our offense?

One thing Kubiak, much like Mike Shanahan, have a knack for is finding O-lineman that fit the ZBS and RBs that fit the system. I'd love to have him as our OC.

you think Arian Foster and Andre Johnson had anything to do with that? that O was so talented they let Jacoby Jones walk away for nothing. How did hos Os in Houston do in postseason?

I don't really care what you think....we're not talking about your team we're talking about the Dolphins.

For me, one of the most important reasons why Denver won those SB's was the OL coach, Alex Gibbs. He was the master at the ZBS. I believe he's in a consultancy role now as he's getting up in age, but I'd certainly love to have his influence in Miami in whatever way possible.

Id be up for Kubiak as OC but doubt it happens as either he takes the year off or gets another HC spot.

I would like to have a more "creative" kind of OC. Not one married to just one system per say, but one that shows the creative flair to put players in position to exploit weaknesses in a defensive scheme.

where do people get the notion that Philbin wont fire Sherman bc they are friends? How can you come to that conclusion so soon?

When its all on the line, if Philbin doesnt fire sherman he doesnt deserve to be a HC on any team.

The future Offensive Coordinator is already in the building. QB Coach, Zac Taylor. Yes, Sherman's son in law. I'm ready to be char grilled.
