Just heard on sports center manning spoke to Ross tonight

This is Peyton Manning, I do not think he is going to be untrue to himself and convince himself he can play, if he can not. 100 percent classy individual. He instantly makes Fins relevant again.

kirk cousins round 3. hell nick foles might be around in rd. 5. i say Ireland is going to draft one too and be arron rogers. sit for 3 years

Look man...... I really dislike fighting and disagreeing with fellow fans but seriously man. This guy will perform.
This team will come together and not only that we will have a sell out crowd and finally some fuel to give our team use and motivate themselves to win. But not only to win but to keep winning and play with heart and determination.

I really like what matt moore did last year and honestly im ok with him at qb if this turns to ****... I really am. But this is PEYTON MANNING. Not some scrub who shouldn't be playing and definitely not some inconsistent quarter back like chad henne. Trust in him. Peyton would of retired if he thought he couldn't play. The man keeps saying I WANT TO PLAY I WANT TO PLAY. THERE IS NO ONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO PLAY MORE THAN ME. Why question him? Why?

We are so close to something great here and will probably never get a chance like this to see something like this unfold for many years to come.
Don't ruin it with negativity. We as a unit as fans have gone through to much. And most of us feel the dawn is coming.

Manning will make Marshall a score machine and Bush a nightmare for bill belichick. Add charles clay in his sophomore year with a full offseason and what you have here is a real threat every time we get the ball. Peyton does everything at the LOS before the snap. He knows where to go with the ball before the defense does. He will be a dolphin by early next week IMO.

You can't because no one knows. That doesn't mean he wont be able to play at a high caliber, it's just he will have his time to prove it. Time will tell is all it is.
How is that different than ANY other option we have at QB?

I wonder if Peyton is going to make visits to a bunch of teams or what? Maybe he is going to try and keep things quiet. I can not help thinking about the process and how Manning is going to deal with everything???????

Marshall had plenty of chances to be a scoring machine in 2011 and he, quite literally, dropped the ball.

It will only prolong finding the long term solution this franchise and fanbase has been longing for for all these years since Marino. I want to be in the Super Bowl as badly as every other fin fan in the world but I personally would rather not go down this road unless he can truly show he can be out there day in day out as the leader for this team. I'm not saying that my opinion is fact or the right thing to do, it just looks to me like the team is going to repeat the process they have been.

Well, I guess we coukd.go.after.one of.the 2nd tier QB's and hope against the percentages that he is one of those ultr-rare gem late blossomers. Or, we could.contend.for.greatness for a few years with Peyton and then face your worst fear ... losing our lynchpin QB with a team built around him causing us to implode like Indy, win 2 games one year and be forced to pick Halliday number 1 overall and have our stellar QB of the future for the next decade or so.

Given those choices, I'm not sure why you don't want Manning. Seems like a win-win.situation to me.
