Just watched the game DON'T UNDERSTAND the frustration with Tannehill

I was shocked when I logged on and saw the hate. He had two bad plays, the pick and the overthrow to Wallace. Other than that, he was spot on. Does he need to get it in the end zone, yes, but that's up to him and our playmakers.

Dion Sims fumbles on a great drive, and his pick killed the other drive. Both could have resulted in 14 points.

Average 4th quarter passer rating: 79.6
Ryan Tannehill: 64.6

Yawn, again, 4th quarter performances not a useless mumbo jumbo mahamba jamba stat.its what the QB does to win the game. I can name countless QBs who didn't have great ratings but won Superbowls.

The thing about that pick throwing to hartline, was that there were 3 cowboys watching hartline. I'm sure Ryan also can't believe he didn't throw to one of what I'm sure was many open receivers.

Ryan's had a good preseason overall. 15 of 20 for 172 and a td in 2 games is fine. Specific to game 3, there is just no excuse for throwing to Hartline in double coverage and turning the ball over in the redzone. It really felt pre-determined vs. a sound read to me.

To be fair, he had four 4th quarter comebacks last season, which was pretty good. His 4th quarter passer rating looks better without at least 3 desperation hail mary passes in the closing seconds getting picked off.

I don't think he's that bad in the 4th quarter. He's shown he's good running the 2 minute offense.

So you gave us the stat line on limited snaps in two preseason games, but don't for the one where starter plays majority of the game?

I was liking what I saw in that opening drive vs. the Falcons. But then my optimism grounded a bit after what I saw vs. Dallas.

U were really shocked to see the hate? If Tannehill threw for 200yrs and 2tds they would still find something to bitch about...like he threw one too low, charles clay had to extend his arms for it or some kind of stupid ****

Sims looks so slow trying to make plays away from the line of scrimmage. My goodness -- no quick twitch muscle to him at all. And slow hips. Suspect hands. Terrible decisions w. ball.

No way he's a TE worthy of starting on a playoff team.

I don't feel like Sims is that bad, but I still have no clue what they see in him. He looks like he's running through molasses.

To be more fair he also had 23 sacks in the 4th quarter. The next 3 highest: Mike Glennon at 20, Terrelle Pryor at 17, and a big multi-way tie at 12.

 I love the argument as to how that missed throw to a wide open Wallace was somehow Wallace's fault. "He didnt locate it".

When I walk out on to my back porch, I can not locate the Washington Monument. That is because the Washington Monument is about 300 miles from my house.
