I say we draft all defense with the Day 1 picks

starting with this cat(maybe trade down a little in round 1)

with Crowder, Wimbley, Zach and JT it might not friggin matter who the back 4 are

From what I've heard, Wimbley's stock is rising a lot. Some say he will be taken between 15 and 20.

I know what you are saying but IF I was going to draft an OLB/DE at 16 it would Manny Lawson. I like Kamerion because he is steady but Lawson is more of a playmaker

If we didn't get a Lawson type in the 1st then I would definitely take Wimbley in the 2nd.

A guy who at the least will be a good specialist rush backer and could evolve into a solid every down OLB.

I will take carpenter or lawson over wimbley but yes wimbley whom about 2 months ago was a 4-5th rounder is now about a top 2nd. Tweeners always rise.

Iv read about this guy also. He is a great talent. I agree 100% at drating all D on day one (FA depending). BUT I dont agree with the comment that it wont matter who our secondary is. Our secondary might as well been nick named TOAST after getting burt so many time last year. I think we need a good S ball hawk type who can play center field for us, and at least one "bigger" CB. But Wimbley would be a great addition

I disagree with Drafting Defense with all Day 1 picks because we need oline. After we get 1 Oline guy and Maybe a QB for the Future than yes the rest to improve and make our Defense younger.

I totally agree with you Skeet, but I think alot of that will be determined by who we get in FA. We are looking at linemen and QBs, so if we bring in some good guys to play right away, then I think it is about youth and speed on D

Well I think we will use 1 pick on Oline and Maybe one on a QB ( Depending on who is available ) However I think the rest of the draft will go to help our Defense unless there is a Guy that slips at another position that Saban just can't pass up! But yeah we have pretty much the same plan. :wink:

Yeah Manny Lawson is kind of sick. I think we go O-line, DB, or BPA in the first and in the 2nd get the guy from Ohio State Bobby Carpenter.

Yeah I agree. I would much rather go Oline or Corner in the First round. Hopefully we can get a nice couple of Lb's in Free Agency. All the LB's that I like seem to be reaches at 16 so I really wish we could trade down.

All I know is ...Man I can't wait to see who Saban really picks. I wonder if it's gonna be one of the players we all talk about on this board or if gonna be a suprise to all of us. Who ever it is it's gonna be exiting.
I kinda want it to be and OLman but it would kinda be cool if we got some awesome defensive player in the first like a DT or DE just because it would be exiting as heck to watch him play next year.
