Where is everyone coming up with Moreno's VG pass blocking? It's just not true.
gotta love those wild assumptions, for someone who treats pff like a bible im surprised you think this

one thing that makes perfect sense with him.. he fits Lazor's system well. He is no Shady McCoy, but he was in an offense that clicked when the RB was getting balls out of the back field. I would like it if it is a 1-2 yr show me deal, with 6 mil guaranteed in the contract
### PFF ranked Moreno eighth among all running backs as a pass blocker. For perspective, Miller was 33rd, Thomas 34th.
### Moreno had only one fumble in 241 rushing attempts last season. He’s young (26) and coming off his best season, albeit in an offense loaded with talent. He’s a more proven back than Thomas and a Miller/Moreno tandem would be serviceable at the very least and potentially much better than that, depending on blocking and other issues.

That rank was as a pass receiver, not blocker. If you go to signature stats, you will find Miller at #14, and Moreno at #24 when it comes to pass blocking.
It's pretty funny how someone will leave you a no thanks but doesn't post there point of view.:rimshot:
PFF, NFL rankings, the fact that he was trusted to protect the most valuable man in the NFL, and did a good job....what is your basis for it "not being true?"
No bias, just fact. Barry misread the PFF columns for pass blocking as receiving, and I'm sure will post the correction.
Ive seen several comments about Moreno fumbling...he has 2 fumbles over the past two years in about 380 carries. Not really seeing a big problem there.
I also dont get the need for a "big back"....we need a good back in general. If you think that Blount is better...then fine make that argument..thats plausible and defensible. But cmon...Shady McCoy, Jammal Charles, etc are not "big backs".
Not to mention Moreno is 220 lbs...its not like hes a little scat back
or you could just be wrong and the rb successfully blocking for Manning is actually quite a good blocker.
You know, one or the other lol
also looking at the stats, Moreno had 3 fumbles in 3 years, Blount had 3 last season
I don't get the constant comparisons to Thomas, Moreno is a big improvement against any RB on our roster including Miller (who would also be hammered on here if he had gone to a different university)
