Kubiac, Wade Smith, and Ben Tate would be a great start

blount would be dirt cheap and a load downhill back...but how good is he in pass pro...when he's in the game he kind of limits what you can do on offense...but that was a good signing for new england for sure...

Not sure about the pass protection.. Definitely doesn't offer us the receiving options Thomas/Miller do.. but I'd take a decent hard runner over formation options at this stage. Gives us a much better option for short yardage too - at least on paper.

Kubiac is not who you want if you are currently unhappy with this regime. Gary has been well known to be stubborn and sticks to his script no matter what the defense is doing, he also doesn't make many half time adjustments. Go on any Texans board and ask what they think about him as a play caller. This has been a knock on him from analysts and players for years.

He reminds me a lot of Sherman.

Listen to this man! This is straight truth!

Either that or, there are plenty of OT's in this draft...especially in early rounds. But Tannehill being young and getting sacked 58 times is proof that the OL needs fixing ASAP. #1 priority. We cannot go into next year with the same OL; only Pouncey is a sure starter. McKinnie isnt bad. Though, i like Albert..

Lots of guards I'd prefer, though Smith is a fit. Zane Beadles, Alex Mack and Even Dietrich-Smith, among others. At tackle I like Anthony Collins of the Bengals and Rodger Saffold of the Rams. Collins would start for most teams and Saffold has played both tackle stops and is a legit starter at LT (not an elite one, but a legit one). Ryan Harris of the Texans is a decent swing tackle. Would also look into trading for Donald Stephenson.

I outlined a plan here:
