I don't think he's an idiot.

I understand his philosophy and don't agree with it.

I'd be handing Drake the ball and throwing Drake the ball a lot more. A lot.

I disagreed when Gase was starting Damien Williams and splitting carries with Drake.

He just prefers to not rely on one guy, except for that one magical stretch with Ajayi, and after Williams got hurt last year and he had no choice but to feed Drake (and Drake excelled).

You are probably right that it has a lot to do with philosophy, and matchups.

For example, pounding gore in the south Florida heat had to have an effect, both physically, and mentally.

I'm just saying if Drake were an "elite" player, surely he would be effective regardless of the game plan etc.

Don't get me wrong. I like him, but he's not the guy you think he is IMO.
