La Canfora: Dolphins exploring Dion Jordan, Mike Wallace and Cameron Wake trade

Not to mention cap hits that would set this team back years.

I think Dolphins would actually save $8m against the cap with trade of Wallace

RT @Jason_OTC If #Dolphins trade Wallace they create $8.45M in cap room and with Dion Jordan they lose about $5.33M

edit 2: haha for the down vote. I'm not saying to do it, just posting info, damn

If any of this is true, are we really to believe Philbin had zero input on any of the moves made last season??

Jason Lackasourca can blow me....seriously if you tried to be a ****ty reporter you couldn't be this bad.

Why would Miami trade the only half decent WR they have? Unless they plan on drafting Watkins there's no point in trading Wallace.

Watkins wont even be around at 19.

I'll be surprised if he goes past the Bills, Lions, or Giants who will let Hakeem Nicks walk.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I don't think it would be a terrible move. But only for AT LEAST an early 2nd rounder. Yes, it sucks to think that you're giving up on an early 1st rounder from only a year ago. However, the team has a lot of holes to fill that are more important than a backup DE playing out of position. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the thought of Dion turning into what we hope he will. But, when we drafted him we were expecting him to be a starter. I don't think anyone expected the production we got from Vernon. I would love it if he stayed with us, but at the same time, if Hickey can draft better than Ireland, I have to believe that an additional 1st or 2nd round pick would give us more value than Jordan would

Nope. 1st rounder or keep him in my opinion.

When we drafted him, YOU expected him to be a starter. Everyone knew, or should have known, that Dion wasn't physically ready and was unsure of how Coyle was going to use him.

Personally I would just use the 3-4 with Odrick and Shelby at DE, Soliai at NT, and Jordan/Misi at OLB. I don't see why its so hard to work to Jordan's strengths.

Can LaCanfora simply STOP working on the Dolphins beat? He has the absolute worst sources in this organization. He hasn't been right on a SINGLE news story, yet he STILL keeps running Dolphins stories... What's his deal?

he is supposed to be a national writer, he just has a hard on for Dolphins negativity

The Dolphins need to come out and dispute these reports with a vengeance if they are without merit. We can't have these rumors hanging over our heads. You know Wallace can't be too keen on these rumors.

If we move Wake, our defense will return to pure ****. I already predicted that the defense would take a step back next year as the offense improved, but if they move either Wake or Jordan, or both, the D will be a mess and HickBin will be printing their tickets out of town.

That's a bunch of bull****.

i would prefer Mike Evans than Sammy and even he would be gone in the 10-12 range

Trade Wallace, Jordan and Wake to help fix the offensive line. But in turn create holes on the defensive line and at wide receiver. Doesn't make sense.

What are you referring to exactly? How does LAC's false and completely erroneous report make out team a circus.

Our team is a circus for other reasons. Your ambiguity is alarmingly Jets fan-like
LOL

And you guys call the Jets a circus

For the past decade, the Dolphins have had a history of plugging one hole only to open up 3 more. So I guess if it ends up being true, we shouldn't be so surprised...

Depends what the value you can get for them.

Cam Wake is off limits IMO. Nobody will take Wallace. Dion Jordan? You will never get a #1 for him.
