LaCanfora: Ross headed to London and then China

I will stop being "dramatic" when our team starts acting like the other successful teams in the NFL. Sound like a deal?

Not really.

No other "GM" search has been conducted ib the NFL in awhile, also what ******** tweeted has no info on "when" he's leaving. No I doubt Rooney or Kraft would do that, but there also not constantly buying/selling real estate.

How do you know Kraft or the Rooneys didn't?

Stop it. They are template of how organizations are run. Their franchises along with teams like the Giants are first class operations.

And Ross constantly buying/selling real estate does nothing for me. Good for him. What he could do for me is put a legit FO together. Allow that FO to hire a coach that shared the same vision and build a successful football team.

I am tired of hearing that because Ross is a self-made billionaire that somehow that makes him qualified to run a NFL team. It does not.

Nobody said that, your just taking a vague tweet and running with it.

I love seeing Hayden Fox go stir crazy, it's like watching a chicken with its head cut off. Pure entertainment. ;)

Just this past week everyone got in such a gloom and doom mood over the offensive coordinator position. A lot of people gobbled up every little tweet and rumor and came to the conclusion of the worst case scenario. Then they had egg on their face once the process finished and they realized the gloom and doom was unwarranted.

The GM search has been going on one week. Repeat, ONE week. Not two weeks, not three weeks, just one week. Not that long at all for a decision that could impact the franchise for at least the next 5 years. La Canfora comes out with a vague report about Ross flying to London and China "this week" and now the doom and gloom is that Ross is leaving before the process is finished and doesn't know what he is doing. All I am saying is don't fall for the doom and gloom again, just let it play out.

Dont worry.....be happy.....dawn is here to run everything! She has it all under control people.

When is "this week"? Does he mean Monday, or does he mean Friday? That is important to know. If it is late in the week, more likely then not he will name a GM before he leaves.

Bingo! I actually tweeted that question to him? Big difference but JLC always goes for the angle that paints Fins in worst light possible.

I hate JLC. However, do you think he just made up that idea that some of the candidates do like the process. I think that is very true.

Now, some might not like the process because they know they are not getting the job and have an out by trashing the process. However, that is also on the Fins search committee. They should know what they are looking for in a candidate and sharp focus finding their guy.

Ross should have either promoted Gaine or hired Farmer with Kuharich in a position to help learn the ropes. Both are qualified guys and deserve a shot. Instead, he has had this meandering process in which, once again, the Fins look silly.

Why is it time and time again posters on this site can come up with better solutions than the actual team? There are about dozen posters I can think have that more of a clue than the actual team owner. Impressive for our site. Sad for the team we cheer for.

Actually its been two weeks.

It has been pretty evident that the Dolphins aren't his main concern. It's a side gig. That is all fine and well for him, obviously his main business should be his main concern. But it sucks for fans of the team. I think that is a major reason for all the dysfunction. That's why you don't see stuff like this happening from the traditional teams with owners that come from football families like the Giants and Steelers

Like it or not, Fin fans have to admit that Steve Ross is more attracted and vested in his real estate business than he ever will be with his football team. His team will always take a back seat to what his happening with his real estate.

Ross can't win! If he acted like jerry Jones, you all would tell him to leave the team to to the football people!
