Lack of Mike Wallace deep ball is because Ryan Tannehill can't make that throw.

Rational objective people plainly see that RT cant throw a catchable deep ball. It is doubtful he ever will. It is like shooting 3s in basketball, some people can and some cant. You can work to make yourself marginally better, but you pretty much are what you are.

Hard to get better when you never even try.

I disagree it's like a three in BB. There is little margin for error on a three. In football, you just have to put enough air to let the receiver run to it. It doesn't have to be perfect because the receiver has time to adjust. The hoop doesn't adjust to the ball. RT needs more time in the pocket to let it fly. I do not believe for a second that a guy with his arm will not get better at this. It's about practise and timing the throw to get it there. He can and will get better IF they can find a way to get him time to step into it.

What a waste of bandwidth.

Please stop with this. When Tannehill is actually given time to throw, he will hit these throws. Until then it can't be evaluated!

We get it, some people want Tannehill replaced. Ok then, tell us who you want to replace him with?

Not necessarily. Either Mike Wallace goes, or Ryan Tannehill goes. They shouldn't be on the same team. They're a terrible match. Mike Wallace is basically a $60 million nuclear weapon that Ryan Tannehill can't unlock.

- Ryan Tannehill is good at throwing direct laser beams.

- Our biggest offensive weakness is that we currently can't threaten deep.

So IF we keep Ryan Tannehill, then going forward, we should focus on strong non-diva catch radius WRs, that resemble a young Larry Fitzgerald, who excel at catching the contested deep ball while FACING the QB.

Rational people can see hitting 3's with defenders hanging all over you don't find the net either...and in football, you don't get to go to the free throw line.

Chad Henne & Ryan Tannehill have similar arms. Great at throwing direct laser beams. Terrible at arcing the deep ball into a fast bucket.

Ok, I can agree with this. I say get rid of Wallace as he's not a real #1 anyway. He's more a 2nd complimentary that can go deep but every little thing has to be perfect for him to make the catch.

So I think we agree.

Ryan Tannehill has trouble arcing a deep ball into a FAST bucket (4.3 speed).

He does ok with the slower 4.5 - 4.7 speed receivers.

Wallace has one of the worst catch radiuses I've ever seen. So essentially, it's like trying to hit a hamster strapped to a rocket.

Good luck with that...

Ben Roethlisberger seems to be able to hit those rocket-powered hamsters.
