He is worth more than a 7th. The man does have some talent.

He's behind Sammy Morris and quite likely Travis Minor. He may not even be worth the 7th.

Why not keep him for a few more weeks and give him a few more touches during the season while Ricky relaxes? It's not like we couldn't do much worse than a 6th rounder for our troubles.

wait until week 5, then pull the trigger on the trade. Couple of reasons for this:

1. Ricky will be back then. We might need Gordon in the first four weeks.
2. Westbrook could get injured during that time and Gordon's price will shoot up.

Keep the lines of communication open, but don't pull the trigger on that trade until Week 5

I personally was excited about the Ogunleye trade. THink we traded him for Booker and Channing Crowder, maybe that'll cheer you up a bit.

Yea I think we may need Gordon while Ricky is out (what if Brown gets hurt?? could always happen). And I wouldn't accept a 7th for him, I liked what I saw during the Atlanta game (he fought for tough yards). I hope we cut Minor and keep Gordon if no good trade offer.

As opposed to his trade value now, which is a 6th or 7th rounder? I don't see how playing him could lower any such value. And my point is that it may actually increase, should he get some carries during the regular season and runs like he did last night.
