Lamar Miller 2013 Highlights

In case anyone was wondering, or cared, Lamar Miller was around 18 yards per game short of having a 1,000 yard season. When you put into consideration how bad our OLine play was, and games where Lamar Miller didn't get nearly as many touches as he probably should have, I think he can be a pretty good player for this team.

While he clearly doesn't suck, hes never going to be a true top of the league starting RB. He most certainly can help this team though.

If the kid got a chance to get past the line of scrimmage things would change. If our line produces this year there's going to be a lot of people eating crow in my opinion. Miller is solid and possesses great vision and ability to cut to lanes. He is our best back....{outside of pass blocking)

Both have tried to keep their distance from "says stupid **** on twitter and in the media"
 
what do you guys think of Jeff Nixon as our rb coach? seems we haven't had a good ground game for years. lots of pieces to having a good running attack, our line was a huge problem last year, but i wonder if coaching could be a problem for this unit also. i mean they were using daniel thomas as a power back and he is not a powerful initiate and run through contact type of back
 
Hopefully someone challenges "tackles like squaw" at linebacker

sorry. That's a good question. Was he here back when we had Ricky and Ronnie? Don't remember but when Reggie was here we had a solid running game. Last year was the worst in ages running the ball. We did not even try a few games.

that is a good question i'm not sure of his tenure,,,, here you go

Jeff Nixon enters his first season with the Dolphins after being named running backs coach on January 20, 2011.

so no he was not there
 
You have to want to run the ball to be successful. i never got the impression it was important to Sherman or even Philbin for that matter. O Line problems did not help.
I guess you could fault Nixon for the inability of his backs to pass protect. That's part of their job description.
