I dunno, maybe a motivated LJ will be better than Ronnie or Ricky would have been for us, you never know. In his prime he was a much better back then Ronnie Brown ever was.
I think it's significant because I feel like this team is going to do the same old bull**** we had to deal with the past two years, take away carries from the guy who's hot. There were lots of times Ronnie was feeling it and Sparano would put him on the sides and give it to Ricky or Ricky was feeling it and he would take Ricky out and put Ronnie back in. I hated that ****. I want our best player to be out there as much as he can, and as of right now that's Reggie Bush. Only times Reggie should not be the primary running back is at situational goal line plays, or after a huge gain to catch a breather, or at 3rd down plays where we probably have no shot of converting, or when he's on the slot with DT as the running back.
Sparano may be comfortable with how Thomas is progressing as a rookie, but he nonetheless may be uncomfortable going into the season with him as the primary backup to and carry-sharer with a starter who has been injury-prone (Bush).People are really overreacting with daniel thomas, in my opinion hes doing fine out there. Sparano is going to push him to get better thats what a coach is suppose to do but im sure sparano is pleased at hows hes done so far with the holes hes gotten but sparano wants to keep pushing him so improves everyday. If sparano tells thomas how great hes doing he is going to lay back and get comfortable doing average, a great coach keeps pushing the player, especially a rookie like thomas. Props to sparano. As for chad henne, he needs to worry about his own f-ing problems, he had 1 good game against the panthers and he thinks he can run his mouth alrdy? stfu henne and worry about yourself buddy, you are on the hot seat, not thomas.
