Law to the Chiefs

The Cheifs had a good offseason and really improved their Defense like they needed too. They should contend for the SB.

With Warfield out on a four game suspension and Battle out for the year with an achilles injury, they needed to do something. This is a very expensive something but it does diminish the Pats and that's a good thing for us.

what do they do with warfield , once his suspension is over?
he's the 3rd CB or nickel... he's freakin good, but definitely capable of 3rd.... it'll be an easy job for him

Thats all he is worth. Warfield has been smoked so many times the last few years..
shoot... he's a #2 CB... he was playing in the #1 spot for years... and he did a decent job at it. QB's scored over WR's not being guarded by him. everyone on the chiefs secondary got smoked...

they may be deep on cbs, but what about wrs?
kennison, mitchell, richard smith... dante hall will be getting a lil WR stint here and there (but not too much ... he's the x-factor on kick returns, not offense)
boerigtor is pretty good, but he's been injured... chris horn, jeris mcintyre, samie parker is going into camp as #2, and thorpe from the draft.

in a couple years they'll be real good... this year pretty good.

This is Dick Vermeil's last shot at another Championship in addition to maybe Lamar Hunt's last run at another Championship due to his health & Carl Peterson has pledged to both that he would do everything in his power to get them another Lombardi Trophy.

Chiefs aren't holding back this year!

The Chiefs defense will improve with Law but not to the degree that you all are putting it at. They still have NO PASSRUSH which is a bigg bigg important part of Defense, if you cant pass rush a QB can read your d and get it to the open man. Their LB'S are semi decent, and with Law their DBs will be a great duo, but without a line they are in trouble, they lost Holliday which is a big passrush/rush stopping DE and without him they really have not too much on their line except for Sims and Holmes if hes still there. Other than that, they better work on getting some more Linemen because if not their D cannot withstand the likes of the Pat's if they make it to the playoffs. They will be a better team though.

2 shutdown corners on a #1, or #2, or #3 offensive team. THey can make some serious noise this year.

research this stuff before yapping.
no passrush? you hve JT and he makes everyone else look good... holliday was a big disappointment... jared allen was a beast, and yes, our D-line needs to step it up... some guys have really improved. LB's mediocre? bell, johnson, grigsby, scanlon, barber (when healthy), fujita, maslowski (i call him maslousy), fox... i'd put them up against your aging LB's (can't wait for the feedback)... bell may get hurt, yes... we've got lots of LB talent though. secondary is good this year... CP actually did something. and our O is top 5 in dang near EVERY stat for the last 3-4 years...

cant wait until the cheif's come down here in the fall. I true test for whoever we have as QB...

Law, Surtain, Knight & Wesley make a pretty good secondary.
Bell & Derrick Johnson(steal of the draft) make some pretty good lb's.
I agree the Chiefs DL has underachieved other than Jared Allen(rookie last year) but the talent is there with Ryan Sims(#1 pick) & Junior Siavii(last years #1 pick)...so the potential is there.

But, like it's been pointed out....all the Chiefs defense needs to do is keep the opponents to less than 30pts & they'll win 12 games.

Should be an interesting year in KC.
