Lazor deserves criticism

Unfortunately, this is the TRUTH. Completely different offensive system and we look exactly the same as the game up here last year. The only constant here is the QB.

And the wide receivers and running back...all the same guys at skill positions.

Just give me those Clemson playmakers and we will be alright. We lack explosiveness and PLAYMAKERS!!!!!!!

We've got playmakers but for guys to make plays in the passing game, you can't forget the "pass" part of it. EJ Manuel didn't have many plays today where he failed to deliver the ball where his playmaker could make a play. Tannehill didn't do that once.

Biggest problem with the team today was execution, not play-calling.

And I blame Philbin for running out the clock at the end of the half. That was absolutely the head coach's strategy decision.

If your team isn't executing your game plan then you have to be able to make changes. Not just keep at it and hope things turn around.

Bill Lazor: "There is no doubt the blame rests 100 percent on me"

From Today's press conference.

Credit the Bills for making the bold move to move up and get a playmaker...reminds me of the time Ireland moved up to #3 to get that game changer...what was his name?

Anyway...another reason the Browns have been at the bottom of their division for so many years. They passed up a difference maker.

I'm still of the belief that Lazor is very talented and Buffalo in Buffalo was always going to be tough with them announcing the new ownership, etc.
My concern is that Lazor is so smart and a demanding perfectionist that it could be knocking the confidence out of Tannehill and other players.
I also don't know why we don't see a lot more passes directed at Brandon Gibson. Maybe Lazor needs to study some of the games from last year when Gibson was money on 3rd downs.

I've never heard of a coach that was lax and didn't care how the players performed on Sunday having any measure of success in the NFL...not one.

Is it me or does it seem like they take more shots at Sims down the field then Clay?

Didn't take long. So it is still the WRs, the OL and the OC. Phew. I am so glad that Tannehill is great. One day we will have a great OC as well. One day.

Dolphins OC Bill Lazor: "I am very discouraged by the job I've done in the passing game."

Lazor on Tannehill accuracy: No doubt and Ryan would tell you it needs to improve. I'm very encouraged by Ryan, discouraged at myself

OC Bill Lazor said no group on offense played well enough to win. The offense needs to get on the same page.

Lazor on QB accuracy/ball placement: It's what separates the great ones from the good ones to the barely there ones.

Lazor on whether Tannehill's confidence is damaged: That's up to Ryan. I do believe confidence is a big part in how players play

Lazor on Wallace: Mike played well. He's a guy that plays with a lot of emotion and he's backed it up with his play so far.
