If we're able to run an uptempo offense in the Miami heat and humidity opposing defenses will melt by the third quarter. And as we've seen from the Eagles, on the road its also a good way to take the opposing teams fans out of the picture. Up-tempo is the key to winning 11 or 12 games imo and for every addition I make as a coach/GM my first question would be is he a good fit for up-tempo?
Exactly! We should be taking full advantage of that heat and humidity. From what I've seen Philbin seems to constantly rotate guys in and out to keep bodies fresh, and we have a team made up of a lot of young guys. The only positions on the offense that can't be constantly subbed in and out are the QB and the O-line, so what that means is we need young fresh legs on the line to be able to handle a high tempo offense throughout most of the game. So far what I've seen in FA is 2 "younger" starters (Albert, Smith) and a semi young potential starter(Fox) added to the roster. Pouncey is obviously still young and now we have to assume a G and a T will be drafted.
My prediction.....Tannehill and his boys better be in the best cardiovascular shape of their lives because i believe Lazor will have them sprinting up and down the field if Tannehill is able to manage that style of attack with minimal errors. (which i believe stats show he was good in the 2 min drill last year?)
