LeBron James...PROOF that Loyalty DOESN'T MATTER...

Heh, let's see if Dwight Howard does what some might consider "the right thing" and stay long term on a team that is more talented and was better coached than LeB's Cavs - or will he do what, what among many others including, LeBron, Stoudemire, Carmello, Chris Paul and Boozer, arguably the best players on their teams in exasperation decided to do :idk:

Dwight Howard is not Lebron James, Dwight will never be in the conversation for best of all time.

jordan had more than pippen he had rodman who could guard any bigman and was a leading rebounder.
Kukoch was clutch as well. Anyway who cares i like to live in the now and right now the heat is a beast.
Nobody thought the heat could win 4 in a row vs the thunder and they did.

NYJunc, just in case you're confused,

LB James = Elite

No confusion there, he's been elite since very early in his career.

Do people forget Rodman and kukoc were not around for the first THREE titles?

Very true. Hardly anyone believed we could win 4 games period against the Plunder, let alone 4 in a row to close em out on 5.

Dan Gilbert asked LeBron James what he wanted him to do because Dan Gilbert himself didn't know what to do. He was a first time NBA owner. LeBron was 22 lololol.

"Hey LeBron, I don't know what to do. You tell me."

That's not LeBron's job.

Magic and Bird landed in Los Angeles and Boston. Two great cities, two great franchises, smart owners, smart organizations, and teams that big time free agents are drawn to.

No one wants to come to Cleveland. LeBron tried to coax Bosh to Cleveland.

"Nah man. South Beach. Peace."

Miami. South Beach. Dwyane Wade. Beaches. Great weather. GREAT owner. GREAT GM. Great young coach.

nyjunk: "LeBron should have stayed in Cleveland."

Remember Joakim Noah talking about Cleveland?

"I don't know about Cleveland, man, there is nothing going on," Noah said Sunday, lamenting the options for his off day on a typical cloudy and chilly spring day. "It's bad, man."
When asked if his dislike for the town would motivate him more in the series, Noah continued.
"What, that Cleveland really sucks?" Noah said.

LeBron was NEVER going to win in Cleveland with Larry Hughes and Carrottop.

Doesn't matter: he's the second best all time Orlando player and the most impactful player at the most dominant position in the league. His leaving Orlando to ring chase elsewhere, especially after the juvenile, embarrassing way he jerked everyone around unlike LeBron would be no less a blow to his team than was LeBron leaving his. Hopefully by your standards, he'll do the right thing and stay, eh?

How about Shaquille O'Neal dumping Orlando to play in Los Angeles.

Don't blame Shaq one bit.

He's a great player, players would have gone there. You don't need a great City to attract players, last I checked Detroit won a title a few years back.

Who cares if he is the 2nd best Orlando player? He's not Lebron, Wade isn't even Lebron. The only guy on his level is Kobe.

He would have won in orlando had he stayed but as great as Shaq was I think Lebron is on a higher level than him.

The point is Junc's a nets fan so of course he wants Dwight to do the right thing, just like as a Yankees fan, he was against signing players like ARod, Sabathia, and other like Free Agents who could go where they want. Right ? You just saw a version of the spin.

To me it doesn't matter if he's the best of all time or the most dominating center in the league currently; it's the same difference when your narrative is whether one of the most impactful players should stay and make things better or leave to ring chase. :idk:.. Or only is being dissatisfied with the status quo and seeing no light at the tunnel's end only on LeBron?

Just so we understand, if a move to the nets does come about... as a man of consistent and abiding principle, you would be totally opposed to Dwight signing with the Nets because he'd be deserting a deserving team that has actually done more than Cleveland, to support their overwhelming best player, right?

I am not a huge NBA fan but yeah I'd want Dwight, I would have wanted Lebron. Again, this is nothing against the heat organization or Heat fans, it's about Lebron.

By the way, I was against adding ARod but I did want CC. Much like lebron ARod finally got his championship when he stepped up in postseason, unfortunately he hasn't stepped up since but I get the feeling Lebron won't have that problem in the future.

I disagree, I think the best of the best are held to a different standard. I had high hopes for Lebron, as a fan of sports seeeing a guy I thought could be int he discussion for best of all time take the easy way out it disappointed me.

You don't seem to understand what I am saying, it's not about the teams we root for. It's about the players, of course I'd want Howard, lebron or any great player(for the most part) but the true greats should never be afraid to win on their own, they shouldn't try to go form superteams in order to win.

Times are changing, junk.

No one wants to go to Cleveland when Miami is available. When New York is available.

When you consider a new job, isn't location a big deal to you?

Or do you only consider jobs where you can go and do all of the work for the company?

Cleveland effing sucks. When was the last time you ever heard someone say they're headed to vacation...in CLEVELAND.

I've been to Cleveland. It's miserable.

Detroit...another solid franchise who halfway knows what they're doing...unlike Cleveland. Also many years ago before Detroit go REALLY bad due to the recession.

No player that knows how to handle money would want to play in Detroit and be forced to buy a home there in this market.

But all you see is a game. To hell with these people's lives.

They don't have normal jobs so it's not a valid comparison. They don't have to live full time in those Cities and just like every City there are wealthier sections of town/nice suburbs where they can live during the season.

Poor guy would have to make $100 mil living in a beautiful home near Cleveland:rolleyes2: Rough life. The decision was less about location as it was chance to win.

LBJ free Agent gave 7 long years with an owner with a slave mentality that is putting more Americans in debt with his sick loans. Why waste your talent with a team that is not prepared to help you win it all? I will say it again LBJ did not break his contract obligations unlike New yorks famous Carmeleo anthony or Dwight "trade me" Howard who could be heading to the nets by the way.. And if he does good for him to be able to play with a good point guard.
