I know they wanted to avoid a QB controversy but I am surprised McDaniel did not push harder to trade for Jimmy G. knowing Tua's injury history.
Reality is Jimmy G. is alot better than Bridgewater.

I think Bridge is a fine backup but overpaid. Jimmy G would have been gold backing up Tua. Always liked how Jimmy G throws down the middle and not afraid of it

I'll say it again, I'd take Jimmy G over Teddy in a heartbeat.
