I get why you'd say this. In my defense, as a long-time die-hard Dolphins fan, I'm sick and tired of seeing them be irrelevant for so long. The Marino era was fun to watch too, and though it ended without a ring, at least they won a bunch of playoff games. After that, it was mostly frustration year after year. It's not easy to watch what at one time was the winningest team in all of professional sports turn into the franchise with the longest playoff win drought.I get the frustration, but as I have said before all of your posts end up in the same place
Others see the current team under McDaniel as the beginning of something special. I thought the same thing early on when they were taking the league by storm with lots of big, exciting plays. However, McDaniel wasn't so great when faced with adversity, and when both seasons ended the same way (high Seeds within their grasp, but they ended up barely making the playoffs where they immediately lost), whatever hope I had turned into frustration and anger for teasing me.
That said, it's possible that I'm wrong, and McDaniel is the one to lead the team back to relevancy. However, I won't believe it until I see it. IMO, those impressive offensive stats would mean a lot more to me if they were acquired by beating their share of good teams and going into the playoffs as one of the Top Seeds, instead of racking up stats against bad teams, losing to the good teams, and never earning a better playoff berth than the 6th Seed. They have a bunch of talent on that team (except for the o-line
