where's the sanchez cheerleader junc to tell us how he gained experience in the play offs and how much better sanchez is then henne, and how these guys don't know what there talking about

I would argue that Sanchez had a better support cast as well. I think we're a little more evenly matched this year. Both QBs progress will be interesting to watch.

You are right with your argument. They pretty much had the same starting record in the regular season. But Sanchez had the #1 scoring and yardarge defense backing him. Henne had to overcome the #25 scoring and #22 yardage defense.

Henne threw 100 more time despite starting 2 less games. Henne had to throw to play catch up late in the season because the D was so pourous. If Henne had to to throw 30 times or more we ended up losing most of those games.

Even the 2-1 playoff record for Sanchez is misleading. He only had 41 completions in 68 attempts. Thats only 23 attempts per game which indicates a pretty good running game supporting him. The fact that he only had 2 ints in those games was the main reason for the 2-1 record.

If you look at his numbers from late in the year when the media jumped on his wagon they were pretty pedestrian.
Analyse his 6-2 stretch that ended in Indy and add on the Baltimore game and you have some woeful numbers

109 for 188 ( 57.9%) 1266 yards 6 TD's and 6 Ints for a 9 game stretch. Thats a 75 rating. That is 12 completions per game and only 140 yards per game. You definitely need support with those numbers to be 6-3. If Henne put up those numbers we would be lucky to win a third of our games. He has 2 such games last year vs Buffalo and he 2nd jets game where he didn't do much but manage and we won.
