Love Patriots Week 1

To the OP, please don't put the words "Love Patriots" in any thread title. It makes me want to throw up a little :puke:

Well that will test our metal

Just hope after the game they will be able to say the same....

On my birthday! Looks like I'm heading to Miami September!

I don't love it because it has been a decade since the Patriots have lost their opening game. Bill gets his teams ready to start the season, and we're likely going to be starting 0-1.

However, I'm still excited for it. Less than five months!

Last year Miami severely out played the Patriots in New England in the 1st half (If Miami had had at the very least a decent O-line last year, Miami wins that game), and beat the Patriots in Miami.

This is not your same New England Patriots/Tom Brady that many remember.... just send the hopefully much improved Dion Jordan, Cameron Wake, and Olivier Vernon to put Brady in hearing footsteps mode, and watch the game become much less stressful for Dolphin fan that many seem to expect.

Not an easy game by any stretch, but it's in Miami, and if Miami gets better at O-line (They should), Miami does have the better defense, with more then enough weapons on Offense to make it very heard for the Pats to keep that Opening day wins stat and hope of reaching 2nd place in the records books which just so happen is the Miami Dolphins.

Not excited about it. Our best hope is Dion is ready to ball and eliminates Gronk and our OL can keep the offense from being suffocated. This is not an easy game in the slightest

Looking to Kick some Patriot @$$ !!
Time for the changing of the guard!

This schedule is gonna be hard as hell if the teams they gotta face get their franchise QBs.

If we don't get our O-line solid, caulked, and sealed, it's not going to be a pretty opener against the pats.

I'm looking forward to it. Let's see a changing of the guard!! BTW, we almost never play the Pats in September. We almost always play them in OCT and DEC in NE... BRRRRRR. In the last 20 years Miami is 5-1 vs NE in September. (4-1 record in Miami during those games). I like our chances just fine.

The Pats are still the pats. Regardless of the weather, the generally find a way to win.

The last time the Patriots lost their season opener?

2003. A DECADE ago.

And that was the Bledsoe Bowl the year Bledsoe joined the Bills. There was a lot of emotion and motivation that went in there. Ty Law had also been cut a week or two before that game and joined the Bills, so he had intel.

You may be excited, but I bet you won't be in the 4th Quarter when BB and Tom Terrific are doing their usual Week 1 heroics.

I hate the start of this schedule. Things could tank in a hurry... :(

That was Lawyer Milloy. Ty Law never played for the Pats.
