Let me ask you this: as it currently stands, do you think the Miami Dolphins are a well respected organization?

Here is thing I feel bad for Philbin about…right or wrong…he wanted Mike Sherman to stay. At the end of the day, he might have been right. Now, Joe might…I stress might…be in no man's land with his OC…and its only his most vital year of his HC career.

Thanks Steve Ross. Joe is out of candidates, but it is obvious that the guys he liked best are gone.

Come on. You know the current Dolphins organization is questioned by people throughout the league. I understand it does not happen over night, but they have start mirroring themselves after the quality organizations around the NFL ASAP.

Think of the players, coaches and FO types that have spurned the Fins. I am sure there excuses for why that is the case, but Miami needs to have strong leadership or else they will get sloppy seconds.

your dolphins w/ lazor fantasies will have to be put on hold, all reports state he's joining the lions. Which I think, Lions with Lazors attached to their heads are way more bad ass than dolphins!

I think the GM search has been first class thus far.

Why do you think the candidates Joe likes best are gone? I don't know if you are right or wrong, however Joe seems to keep things pretty close to the vest. I would have sworn he was all over Matt Flynn and we all know how that worked out (to our benefit).

Thats a good point.
I do think McAdoo was high on our list. The fact that All-Star organizations like the Giants and Ravens were giving him looks as well says a lot.

Lazor signed with Caldwell before we were done interviewing.
McAdoo interviewed with the Gmen Monday and they signed him TODAY.

The major lesson here is if you like a guy then hire him.
These organizations are moving quickly and we are not.
 
I also think in regards to inexperienced OC's like Lazor/McAdoo, they'd rather hitch their wagon to experienced, proven so-to-speak QB's. With a QB like Tannehill you'd rather have an experienced OC with our inexperienced QB.
