Someone will have to explain to me why supposed arm strength is more important than knowing the system inside and out. His arm strength was good enough for a game of 6 td's and over 400yards, I think he'll be fine.

Concur. Sign him and draft a QB in the later rounds. Moore has started far more games than Flynn has so let him play backup until Moore proves he can't get it done. I think Moore should get the starting job and everybody should stop panicking over the QB position as long as we get a solid backup.

It's a huge risk on Philbin's part. He's tying his own career very much to the ability of Matt Flynn. If Flynn becomes our franchise QB and takes us to the playoffs and beyond, then he'll be hailed as a genius if Flynn turns out to be another Kolb he be lucky to last as long as Cameron did.

To the contrary, Moore was one of the league leaders in 25+yd completions. And in regard to Flynn, Moore's 09 game against the playoff bound Vikings was more impressive and a win vs Flynn's 10 loss vs NE. IMO what Moore accomplished in 09 bringing a terrible Carolina team from 4-7 to 8-8 resonates louder than what Flynn did vs a porous Detroit DB when plugged into a system that's an offensive juggernaut with a team that ended 15-1. :idk:

Man the Dolphins were airing out with Matt Moore and having success. Henne has a cannon, but he can't sniff the effectiveness of the Matt Moore deep ball. Moore played well last year, no denying that, especially with that turnstile to his right.
