McMike vote

No action, because his wife probably got out of line and needed to be hit. She needs to learn Randy is making a lot of money and shouldn't set him off, or she'll be dealt with. Women think they can do too much and McMic ain't having that. He's my boy and he should play right away.

That's actually pretty funny.

FFF, did you read my response? Do you agree with that?

LOL I got so offended :fire: , I forgot to respond to yours.

I agree to an extent. I voted for suspend and fine. Not the entire season, 2-3 games something like that. I think during that time he and his wife should get counseling to determine if they can fix their marriage problems, or just go there seperate ways.

Then again, I am a therapist, so I'll always endorse therapy.

I voted no punishment because this is a legal matter and not a team one. If we are going to suspend McMike how about we suspend Pricky for his ganja use and quitting on the team right before the season starts? Yes, I know the league is taking care of the Pricky situation but the Dolphins are offering no punishment to him and his actions directly affected the team. If Pricky gets no punishment by the team then McMike shouldn't.

That makes sense. An angle I didn't think of....

well i know that very few will agree with this but if randy could get to a treatment center and get help with the drinking and get some counseling that would be a start. he needs to split up with the mrsfor sure but i am not too sure i would throw him off the team though. one thought here is it may not be a bad idea to suspend him for the season and hope he get his act together. this is excatly what is wrong with this country everybody wants to kill or injure others and this is nationwide epidemic in my opion.

You're a ........................wait, typing how I feel about you and your posts isn't worth being banned. :shakeno:

I voted NO ACTION, b/c we stunk last year and I'm sick of it. It will be interesting to see if this affects us extending him though.

i agree with the comment that its a legal matter and not a team matter. however, we all know that saban is someone who doesnt tolerate with stuff like this. sayin that, i dont think that mcmichael will be punished, yet i wouldnt be surprised if a fine is layed down by saban.

I voted no fine because I am still waiting for something more to come out. So far she has said that she wasn't hit, that it was an accident. Perhaps she's covering up for him but no witnesses contradicted her and I wasn't there to contradict the account. If something comes out to contradict her statement then he should be fined or suspended or both but until I hear something different I can't judge the situation

To be perfectly honest,

Half and half. I want this team to win so bad I can taste it.

On the other hand, and believe it or not, more importantly, (seriously!) I want Randy and Cawanna to resolve this for their sake. He is a good human being who happens to have a problem. It needs to be fixed.

:yeahthat:

I voted for a fine only. My reasoning is that his actions were not a direct affect on the team. Further with the facts we have they may or may not be criminal. Hence no suspension. The only team affect is a public relations hit. Since he is in a high profile position the team has a right to expect him to represent the team. His actions whether criminal or not brought embarrassment to the team so IMO a fine is warranted.

The reason I voted no punishment was because this issue exceeds team bounds. All punishment should come directly from the United States Judicial System. Not through the Miami Dolphins.

The issue was not directly related to the organization and therefore does not deform the Miami Dolphins in a DIRECT manor. If the justice system does decide to inflict appropriate punishment, then the team must adhere to the correct legal processes and if this directly pushes an influence of abruption on the team, they can them take appropriate measures to see the team progression is not disrupted.

who cares a little beating never hurt anyone go fins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you joking, that doesnt even make sense, it may not hurt you, but it hurts his wife who was hit, it hurts Mcmike himself for the legal trouble, it hurts the dolphins franchise....

This point makes no sense at all :shakeno:
