this pretty much answers my biggest fears that michael huff would skyrocket in the draft. kiper has him going #7 overall to san fran. he deserves it. hopefully NFL teams don't have the insight he does here.

lots of other interesting picks. i like youboty, but not this much.

Very possible, although he was someone I was thinking of late 1st if we have any trades.

I really hope it doesn't go down like that...getting shutout from drafting [Huff/Greenway/J.Williams], but if it does I could live with Youboty in the first, just as long as we go with Croyle in the 2nd...:D

huff or jimmy williams would be good picks....i dont know much about youbouty

Thats why they'd be gone according to Mel. :D

here's what kiper said about huff:
The top-six picks remain the same, but the one newcomer to the top 10 is Texas defensive back Michael Huff. Right now I have him projected to land in San Francisco, which has the seventh overall pick. What I like about Huff is his versatility because he can player either cornerback or safety.

This projected pick reminds me of what the 49ers did in 1981 in a similar situation. In the '81 draft, the 49ers had the eighth overall pick and selected another versatile defensive back, USC's Ronnie Lott.

Damn, I hate this mock. The 3 players I want (Huff, Greenway, Cutler) are all off the board when we pick. If the first 15 picks went down like this, I would probably take LenDale White and try to work out a deal to trade him down for extra picks. There's a lot of teams below us that would be interested in him.

Thats risky, I don't know if I would do that, considering Maroney is a top back and would be avaliable as well.

thats to much risk, why not just trade out before the time runs out.

Yeah, he's said many times he prefers bigger more physical corners.
