Merged 5x:HOLY CRAP did you see that catch by LEE

Donald Lee?

Anyone see that catch he made last night as he was getting cracked in the endzone against the panthers. My question is... was that the same Donald "Hot Potato" Lee that we cut earlier this year. I'm glad we got rid of him but c'mon, you cant catch any of our qb's passes, but you can catch a Favre bullet, unreal! Just had to get that off my chest
 
The man has skills.None of you out of towners saw his rookie season training camp.The man was making catch after catch.I always said that Lee problem was a mental one.A change of scenery will do wonders for him and he could even end up being a probowl TE.
 
Best part is, I had money on Carolina (with the spread).

Donald Lee cost me money on a DIFFERENT team. He haunts me.
 
Lee is always good for 2 or 3 completions a year.
 
When he made that catch I just shook my head.
 
Lee is inconsistent, but is an exceptional blocker. He just made too many mental mistakes for a Saban-coached team. He is the poster child for the "talented but fatally flawed" player that hurts more than he helps. If he can get his head on straight, he could be a good TE.



Byroan, you play poker?

I've been chomping at the bit to tell someone, anyone, my poker stories from the last week... but no one appreciates poker.

Basically, I'm on tilt, having lost on the following hands: AA (x2), KK (x3), QQ, JJ (x2). I lost to a guy who picked up trip 4s on the river, a series of gut shot straights, and higher pocket pairs (on the cowboys).

Imagine that, he not only CAUGHT a ball thrown to him, he didn't have a penalty that brought the catch back !!! Amazing !!!

I couldnt wait to say that today. A Bullet from Favre and getting cracked in the endzone.

I "can" play, doesn't mean I'll ever win. :lol:

I'm just a fan though. ESPN got me hooked.
 
Catching the ball was never really his problem. Not fumbling it afterward was.

I didn't enjoy watching him catch the TD but since he only needed posession for an instant it didnt suprise me. if they would have thrown to him on the 5 and he had to run it in and break a tackle it was a certain turnover
