People need to stop living in the past when we never had cap room and realize that we actually are in good shape this year. We CAN afford to sign a player of Schulter's caliber it's just matter of Saban wanting him or not.

Reggie Tongue is also out there. him and lance are both in there thirties but IMO reggie would be the better Saftey to sign if we are looking for a guy to fill in to see how are current saftey progress.

Lance Schulters is on the market.

I am not real comfortable with Miami's safety situation. Lance Schulters (6'-2" 202lbs 30yrs old) was just released by the Titans. I like the way he plays the position and if Miami has enough cap space I would love to see him in a Dolphin uniform. He would probably command around 1.5 to 2 million. Any thoughts on Schulters?

1.5 -2 mil a year? they are offering law less than that. depending on the ricky williams salary, miami is pretty tight on the salary cap
