If the Eagles were offered something desirable for Terrell Owens, they certainly could trade him.
But according to a team source, no one in the last 41/2 months has inquired, either formally or informally, about Owens' availability. No one has said, "Hey, when you get sick of dealing with this, give us a call." No one has made an off-the-cuff remark to Andy Reid. "When players are having problems and there's interest, teams will call and say, 'Hey, if you're going to move him, we're interested,' " a team source said. "We've never called anybody, and no one has called us. We wouldn't trade him anyway, but that tells us there's no market out there." Leaguewide, opinions are mixed about whether Owens is tradable.
