Spielman's biggest mistake was not pulling off a deal for Terrell Owens. Say what you want about the guy's talent. But his character is so high it could only serve to elevate the Dolphins as an organization and the south Florida Community as a whole. Especially now that WR is our weakest position. We have undervalued this position for too long.
He wouldn't have to hold out with us, because Drew Rosenhaus (Whom I'm throwing my support behind for next new Pope) has so many of our players under contract anyway. And Saban would surely give him what he is worth. Which in my opinion should be in the top 10 in the league, ahead of most QB's and more than the best RB or shut down corner. When they have great games WR's touch the ball 10 times in a game. How can you not pay this guy at least 100K per reception?
And back to the character issue, people should applaud T.O. for fighting for workers rights. After seeing T.O. at halftime of tonights pre-season snooze fest I'm going in to work tomorrow to tell my boss "No, you shut up!" He is truly an inspiration. Viva La T.O.!!!!!

He signed a horrible contract. TO has the upper hand because without him, I don't think Philly is a Sb team this year, last year perhaps, but they're so thin at WR this year. I don't know if he has signed anywhere, but if I was Andy Reid, I would be very interested in Koren Robinson, who is better than any WR they have without TO.

I have more problems with that than I do TO's antics. TO is the best WR in the game (you could argue Moss and Harrison ect.) and he is paid less than the top ten? The dude was a hero for coming back at his own risk for the SB.

I think Saban could turn his crap around and Rosenhaus would be a nice connection (even though I hate his ***, and TO for that matter) but somehow, I think TO and Ricky would make us look like real dips to the media, but then start kicking some serious ars! The only problem is that we would have to give up alot and we already did that for ricky. Very Very risky, but damn...............I think I would pull the trigger if something could be worked out.

Hero? Don't think so. He laid up until the big show. Amazing how one goes from crutches to full speed cutting in just a few weeks. Been there...not possible. TO is an attention whore...it's all men of that character will ever be. Besides, why would you want a cancerous growth like him on a team that's trying to find its identity? Did he help the Eagles over the hump? Nope. He's just causing a distraction to the team for his own lust for fame and immortality.

I hope your a doctor, because as I recall what was reported was that the doctors wouldn't clear TO, but he played anyways, and he was the best player on the Eagles in the Sb. He had 14 tds, and 1200 yds, so if that's laying up, I hope Chambers lays up this season.
 
Just to make myself clear. I think T.O. should be a Dolphin. He is a model football citizen. He has never criticized anyone, and I don't undersand why anyone would criticize him. He is the most important player in the NFL and by that I also mean the entire planet. Not only should the Eagles pay him double, but we should all pay a 1% T.O. tax out of our paychecks. We don't deserve the right to watch him play football.
Marino couldn't throw himself out of a paper bag.
Shula couldn't hold Olivadati's playbook.
And Hitler was a decent guy.
Those who thought I was being sarcastic are just dumb cynics.
And all of you who took my post seriously are really smart guys.

You are kidding me you would want this guy who could afford him... He was on a great team last year..remember when he was with the niners how many superbowls was he in...
 
TO sucks, is a crybaby, a selfish beatch, a distraction and I would hate if he was on the Dolphins! I hate the guy, no matter what he does!
