Terrell Owens is one of the 3 best wideouts in the league, I make the trade and worry about him later. Owens is averaging over 100 yds a game and a touchdown, and Ricky is not as valuable to the team as he once was with Ronnie Brown.
Go ask GB how valuable solid backup RBs.

RW is more valuable to this team then TO would ever be.

You think he will AVG 100yds with our QB's throwing him the ball??? :shakeno:
Bingo, something these guys are not thinking about. Miami's problem is with the man throwing the passes, not catching them.

Cause he's better than EVERY WR Miami has put together? That is such a trade that favors Miami it should be a no brainer to the fans!
Maybe for a year, but 35 year old WR are not known for being great in the NFL. TO is on his last leg & he knows it. That is why he is making such a fuss in Philly, so he can get a new deal with another signing bonus & TO is not gonna want 4 million as a bonus. He will want 10+ & that is a cap killer when he declines to being useless.

If Miami were a SB team then getting TO might make sense, but they are not & by the time they are then TO is looking like an old Rice out there.

The only way I would do it is if we had another trade lined up to dump TO for a high draft pick or another player that we want.

I don't know if he would average 100 yds a game, I do know he would get around 1200 yds recieving, when the top wideout on the team tops out at about 900 every year.
How do you know this?

Does TO have a better vertical leap than Chambers? Please do not say he does.

How about a three team deal where Philly get Ricky. We trade TO to SD for Rivers (or Brees)? SD is thin at WR... There's 99% that this could happen but it's something to ponder.

That would make much more sense. SD has a SB team in hand & TO might would help them reach that.

never in all of professional sports have I ever seen anyone like TO. He flat out ruins teams and morale. I wouldn't want him on our team if he was given to us. We have good recievers just no one that can get them the ball. Could you imagine the 15th time Gus over throws TO on a wide open touch down ball.

It is a recipe for disaster. However, keep in mind Gus was throwing balls to Moss for a couple of games in Minny.

we do not, i repeat DO NOT want TO

he is the top story every night on the news here in philly, no matter what happens. we dont want that

Hell no!! He is getting suspended for being a locker room cancer and yapping his trap. We don't need that crap no matter how good he is. Then again it doesn't matter how good he is if Gus is throwing to him!

Hey I am about to get to my 1000st post. Shall I make Finheaven aware? I hear they are a 1st class organization that praises and aknowledges such milestones!

isnt TO due a 7mill roster bonus this off-season? i think TO will probably just be cut.....even if he was a FA i still dont think id want any part of him here too old and too much money

I'll be shocked if we ever see Owens in an Eagles uniform again. He's going to have to be traded because he's completely burned the bridge with this team and his teammates. If the Eagles are smart, they'll try to get a power running back in return for Owens. However, if the Randy Moss trade is any barometer, the market for a talented but troublesome receiver may be limited.

Question: Would you trade our power running back (RW) in exchange for a talented but troublesome reciever (TO)? Is there anything else Philly could provide to sweeten the deal that would tip your opinion?
I know the contract disparity between the two is huge. (for the sake of this response - let's set that aside)
Who's gonna throw him the ball? WE don't need a headcase receiver. WE have plenty of good receivers. We need a QB.
