Blame the replacement on RS/DW. What happens if RW blows a knee out in game 1. They should have had a backup in place.

I'll blame it on Ricky. He's a big boy and knew what he was doing. He screwed this team over badly last year. To say any different is asinine.

I am in no way condoning what Ricky did to the Fins last year. The way he handled the situation was pathetic.

No man, I know you aren't. Some people just seem to believe it's more acceptable to quit on your team as opposed to disliking your Quarterback.

It's all good.

My whole problem with this situation is that it takes two to tango. Owens is getting ripped on by everyone, and McNabb comes off like his **** doesn't stink in the media. I hate both of them, but it doesn't seem right. ...
History plays a huge role in all this. TO has a history of doing the very same thing in SF with Garcia. Plus Keep it behind close doors. McNabb is doing that.

And if it's indeed true that NO ONE likes Owens in that locker room, than I can see where alot of you are coming from. But I'm going by only what I know of the situation, and there has never been any indication that the rest of the Eagles hate T.O. ...
I'm sure there is probably a player or two that befriend him still, but I highly doubt many of the players stand with him.

I read back in camp Hugh Douglas almost went after TO over something that came out of his mouth.

Just seems like Owens is getting the raw end of this deal...
If TO is getting the raw end, then its soley because of himself. You have to include his prior history.

It happened in SF & now it is happening in Philly. In SF I gave him the benefit of doubt, but with it happening twice then you have to look at the common denominator.

And the common denominator is TO.

I say F*** TO hes to old and mouthy and saban wouldn't put up with his S***

I can't believe you give RW for that cancer, can you imagine what he would say and do with Gus throwing the ball

TO = Turd that wont flush

Very accurate. TO causes nothing but trouble where he goes. He publically berates his own team. He is an imbecile who happens to be physically gifted.

He would only be good for the Raiders or a team that just needs that one player to get them over the hump to win the SB. That's why the Eagles got him. Now that they are further away from the SB due to McNabb's injury, TO is nothing but a malcontent who makes problems wherever he is.

McNabb doesn't come off in any way except that he has class because he doesn't publically respond to TO's childish rhetoric. I'm no fan of either guy, but TO takes the low road and rips into his own team members, McNabb just won't get into a public pissing match. He's smart and dignified. He garners respect because of the way he handles TO's juvenile behavior.

RW for Shawn Andrew Yes

we need off line help not wr help

Id take Moss, but not TO. Moss isnt the cancer people make him out to be sometimes. TO is a certified JA though

Oh he didn't get into a public pissing match this offseason? Gimme a break, you couldn't watch ESPN without hearing something about what Owens OR McNabb said. McNabb comes out and has a press conference telling TO to not use his name, or something stupid along those lines. Now was a press conference for that really necessary?

They are both at fault for this pathetic soap opera.

I dont see how McNabb could have handled it much beter than he did. If a wr is going to call out his qb and that qb wants to still be a leader on the team he has to make some response. Basicaly what Mcnabb said was that he wasnt part of the contract argument and to just leave him the bleep out of it. I thought he handeled it well.

Edit-Didnt Mcnabb also try to get together with the one who shall not be named and patch things up only to be told that 81 had nothing to say to him?

I would never want a player with as much baggage as TO to play for the Phinz. He's a headcase, and no matter how gifted he is as a player, he's not worth the trouble.....

Besides, Saban has no plans on trading Ricky IMO. We'll need Ricky in 2006 when we're grooming our new QB.....

PHINZ RULE!!!!
