Well, i think any team that picks up Owens certainly has an immidiate shot at the playoffs, and again if you GIVE Owens what he wants then he WONT be a problem. So it comes down to, do you want a certain shot at the playoffs with Owens taking a CHANCE on whether he'll become a problem. Or do you want to stick with Chris Chambers, Marty Booker and company who will never amount to elite recievers and will make us struggle to make 500 with a limited air offense.

hahahahahahaaha, funniest post so far today hahahaha !!

I read somewhere that he (TO) had a rough upbringing which would explain why he behaves this way

How crazy is that line?

Give him what he wants?!?!? Ok we'll sign him to a 12 year $200 million contract then maybe he'll behave (for game or two)...

If he complained about playing with a top 3 QB in this league, how will he respond to our QB situation?

I not sure TO even knows what he wants...

Nah. There is a right team for TO. The media sucks. Never listen to them. TO is an odd person, but the media has twisted things around him. First, they made him an idol, and then they made him a scapegoat.

In SanFran, TO knew he was on a team that was going to go through a low period. He didn't want to go through that, so he went to Philly. Philly is the worst team in the NFL, IMO. They have the worse fans in the world. TO was not a good fit for Philly. They already have their superstar in McNabb.

My guess is that TO needs to go to a team that is already decent without any high profile superstars. Chicago is a good example. Also, for some odd reason, I think he would fit in Jacksonville. He should NOT go to a high profile team like Atlanta, Indy, NE, or Pitt either.

You also have to take his age into account. He will be 33 when the 2006 season starts. He is a short-term solution that could leave a long-term problem in his wake.

Interesting....Another T.O topic

I dont know if many of you folks outside of the Delaware Valley of a sports figure named Ray Didinger. An extremely smart football man and a very under rated journalist when it comes to sports. He's been working at NFL Films for years and i dont know if there are many analysts that know more than this guy. Well getting to the point, i was listening to a show he had on radio, and of course being in Philadelphia they were talking Terrell Owens. Didinger said there was a very good chance Terrell Owens could end up in Dallas, however he said The Miami Dolphins are also a very large player in the Owens sweepsteaks. He said Miami was a team making a "stride to win", and that Nick Saban is a guy who doesn't "fold under public pressure". He'll do what he thinks can help the team, and doesn't care about dealing with guys with personality issues hence him bringing back Ricky Williams.

While i know menu of you dont want Owens here, it is interesting to look at the facts that Saban could very take a look at Owens. I personally wouldn't be oppossed to it, one of the better WR's in the NFL could really help this team progress quicker and i dont think Owens would go off the handle again. As i said Didinger is a smart guy, has great football knowledge and has been around the game for years. I respect his opinion very much and agree with him most of the time. I just found his take on the T.O situation very interesting, he made some great points....Also he's on the air saturday mornings until noonish on 610 WIP the Philly sports station (accessible on 610wip.com) if you wanted to check the guy out.

True. But he is in great shape. If he doesn't get injured, he will be around the NFL for awhile longer. If he can find a home with a low profile playoff contender, he could stick with them for at least 4 years. Maybe retire there?

NOBODY...I MEAN NOBODY knows anything about Terrell Owens going to Miami. If they say they do they are liars. I will bet any amount of money that besides small talk behind closed doors about the situation, Saban hasn't even let TO coming to Miami be a blip on his radar. And in addition to that, no one would be telling anyone anyhow.

Any analyst besides Dan marino who says, or will say, TO is coming to Miami is lying unless they are speaking from a 100% opinion.

What the hell has he done to make you think that?? Did you think that the Eagles thought they knew what they were getting when they got Owens?

He cannot be handled and wants to be in the spotlight all the time. Without a constraining contract to handcuff his actions....no matter what. I wouldn't want him.

Of course the Eagles knew what they were getting when they got Owens. Why do you think they structured his contract like they did. Knowing he'd sign it they simply wanted to rent him for 2-3 seasons anyway, they weren't going to pay his roster bonus next year he'd have been released anyway. Owens knew that, why do you think he caused the huge uproar about the contract. Owens went about the contract situation the wrong way, however the Eagles orginization isn't completely innocent either.

I kind of like the idea of TO in Miami. McMichael has a similar personality to TO, so they may clash a bit. But Chambers is sort of a quieter guy. TO and Chambers at WR might be nice. Booker could be decent trade material next year.

TO is a me player not a team player.. He is a great player, but we don't need the headache.

I wonder how many fans would take him for a shot at the playoffs? Ya I know who would throw him the ball.
