Stay away from T.O. for your organizations sake---but if it will keep him out of Den..then by all means take him.

See you around this time next year with buyers remorse.

He's not going to go to Miami unless he has a massive change of heart/attitude.

David Boston was willing to be a team player. Ricky Williams was willing to be a team player, and was in the past. We're willing to give players second chances, but they need to exhibit some signs they will change.

Terrell Owens is not a team player, and has never been a team player. Saban doesnt want boyscouts, but he wants players who will buy into his concepts.

oh geeez, here we go again with the just say 'no' to T.O. You guys must be smoking crack. If we can snag T.O., we snag him. PERIOD!

I think thats exactly what iggle fans said....

T.O in miami?

I think T.O is over rated but...ill take him if he keeps his big mouth shut

Can't be done, the guy is 100% mouth. I personally think that he is without doubt the best WR in football but I really don't want the guy any where near our locker room

I would be shocked if Saban brings in T.O....Not that I don't think he's a good player...but he's going to be 33 and if your building for the future as Saban keeps saying....how much future does T.O. have? He's been hurt the last two years and that body isn't getting younger. Draft or sign a younger talented player and let him grow with the team.

Mel kipper. The idiot who said zach couldnt play in the nfl, JT was a 6th round pick and ryan leaf was the next coming of Marino/elway combined....

He's a "Draft Guru" that is wrong 60% of the time...

Dont forget that he thinks Mike Williams is a god and OROY.

Just Heard On E.sp.n. Radio MORTENSON Was Asked Where To Was Going Next Year. His Reply Was Without Hesitation...
He Said The Dolphins With Sabin Were The Best Fit Followed By The Broncos.
He Beleives Sabin Would Be Willing To Take On Another Challange I.e R/w Boston.

I think Mort has this all wrong. Wicky has never been a cancer on a team like TO has been, TWICE now. Wicky retired, quit on his team for personal reasons. TO loves negative attention and he will destroy any team he is on because he feels he is the team. That is not how Wicky functions. When he is on the team he is the ultimate team player.

Further Wicky was already here and the franchise gave up 2 1st round draft picks to get him here. Saban knows even though that was not his decision he has to get as much out of that trade no matter what. That kind of responsibility for TO does not live in Miami.

You really need to work on your writing skills if you want anyone to figure out what you are saying!?!?!?!

I understood him just fine.

EDIT:

Sorry he obviously edited his original post.

Taking the off-field issues aside for the moment, T.O. is the only available player through the draft or through free agency that, in my estimation, could significantly impact our passing game and therefore our total offensive efficiency. Nobody else out there could impact those things in any serious way in 2006. Offense takes time to build, it isn't acquired. The two positions you can acquire that will result in immediate boosts on offense in my estimation are RB and WR, so long as you understand that there are very few TRUE impact WRs out there and most of them have gotten to where they are through the offense and chemistry they've developed wherever they were last. As such, there's no guarantee that say, a Reggie Wayne would have even any impact on the offense any more than Marty Booker did. T.O. is one of those few WRs that are true impact WRs and didn't get to where they are through chemistry and system but because of pure talent.

When evaluating the cost/benefit situation, people should keep in mind those benefits. I won't weigh in on the costs...because far too many people tend to take the whole situation far too personally or feel too strongly one way or the other.

If TO wasn't old, then maybe, MAYBE Saban could go all Manuel Wright on him and scare him straight but you cant teach this old dog new tricks.

T.O wont explode he knows its his last shot in the NFL

that said I hate the guy but if he can help us im all for it

I dislike TO in a very bad way, however I think there is a chance Saban could handle him. I guarante you that befor he was signed Saban would sit down and make some things VERY CLEAR about what was expected of him in Miami. I just dont think he will take that risk though, maby on the receiver from Detroit...

Even if his headcase problems were guaranteed not to hurt us, how could we know he can play like he did prior to injuries? Thats a big IF.
