Just like the reporters that swore that Saban was gonna trade Ricky this year before the deadline....they all had "inside information":o .

Cole is just throwing sh!# against the wall to see what sticks.

Cole, Mort, whomever are all guessing. If there was anything of substance they would write about it, instead of saying it on radio shows. Its all based on the Ricky situation, and in Cole's case he's throwing nonsense against the wall. He does it often, hes the beat guy that wants a larger profile so by saying things like this, he hopes to be right and parlay it into something bigger.

There is a 75% chance that I will be puking when Miami uses that kind of money on someone who is such a selfish locker room cancer. No thanks...

I would have thought that the % would have been much higher...:D

I don't want to rehash this again, since it's been done ad nauseum, but TO is selfish, arrogant, and UNREASONABLE. It's fine to be the first two, a lot of players are.

But TO doesn't follow any logical reasoning. That's what makes him dangerous. You never know what he's going to do. That's a horrible cancer and worry for a team.

Talk radio says these things 'cause the Fins have cap room and a need at WR. Too bad these turds never stop and actually think. Saban doesn't want or need any problem children.

I wouldnt mind getting TO if we made his contract incentive heavy and included plenty of stipulations about behavior. As far as the qb I think one of the main problems with him and mcnabb were that they both had big egos and couldnt co-exist. Its quite possible that TO would be great with a young qb...not only would he make that qb look good but I could also see him helping the guy learn.

Im not sure though. Its a tough call. The guy can take our team from 7-9 one season to 10-6 the next easily. He is that much of a difference maker IMO.

If Saban were to bring in TO, I'd give our coach the benefit of a doubt to see whether he can control him. I'd sure hope that we'd have a zero tolerance policy for his crap, though. (And a small cap hit.)

I'm sorry but I'll take his numbers on my team any day of the week. The simple fact is he can play. He needs to be the star somewhere and he wasn't that in Philly. If he comes to Miami he will be the star of the team and he may bring a swagger to this offense that it needs.

I'm not going to say he's a great teammate because we all know that he isnt, but I will go as far to say I think whatever team he goes to is going to get a steal for the simple fact that after this happend to him this year after his crap. I dont think he will do it again. The NFL is a gamble, when you draft a player its a gamble, when you sign a player to a long big contract its a gamble. All picking up TO would be is a gamble.

Cost/Benefit though I think he would help this team more than he would hurt it.

well lets pose another question than, if this does happen and TO is a fin, would u all jump off and swim to the bucs or some other team of your dream.

i dont know about you but saban has be believing in his mission here, and i dont care who comes in or out but saban will put together the best chance of winning he can, he told everyone not to pay attention to the score, every person in media jumped on him saying he shouldn't say that. well we won our last two games, and because the players weren't paying attention to the score but just playing every play 100 percent. its his job to worry about the score and thats all he ment by that.

as for TO u mean to tell me gus wouldn't be able to win with TO Chambers and Randy with a threat to run the ball with we all know who(RB RW) TO would make us offensively top 10, if we keep the oline coach. But everyone is missing the point, we need DEFENSE. look at all the one year deals we signed or two year deals who could be cut. I would like to see drafting a defense, and my philosophy on quarterbacks is pray god puts on in our lap because they are the most unpredicable athletes

I realy dont think any of there writers know what Saban is thinking. Honestly when has any writer had a good grip on Saban?

I know many believe he's a cancer and he may be, but after losing eveything in arbitration he has no levrage when signing a new contract and the team that signs him can write a contract that states if so much as farts in the wrong direction he could be fined. Knowing the league will not allow any player to disrupt a team T.O. knows he is walking on thin ice in the league. By hiring Drew Roseybutt as his agent was another huge mistake by T.O. in favor of whomever signs him.

Having said all that, T.O.'s talent is undeniable, and he would be a great addition "talent wise" to this team, unfourtnately we don't have a QB to throw him the ball. Here's a better place FOR t.o. IMO, Indy. I could see us getting Wayne and T.O signing with the Colts, 1) because Wayne is a FA and he will want big money, the Colts simply don't have that much cap space. 2) T.O doesn't have the leverage todemand a big paycheck anymore and will be had for less money then Wayne. Therefore, Wayne will be out of Indy and T.O. will go to the best possible place to exploit his talent and if you think Marinos records were in jepordy before wait till T.O. and Manning hook up. Atleast that seems more realistic then T.O. in Miami.

With all that I would like to say I will be pissed if we waste the money on Wayne, I think he's an "ok" WR but that's it unless he has a wide open O thats loaded at every position like the Colts he will struggle. I don't want him in Miami I would rather have T.O.

Everyone throws out 2 things I've noticed:

The first 1) That he destroys CHEMISTRY. Man it sure has a lingering effect then. Poor San Fran & Iggles, still with bad T.O. Get them some Speed Stick already.

The second 2) That if he didn't like McNabb & Garcia, woah watch out Gus/Sage/insert future QB here. You really think he didn't like Garcia/McNabb was because they were so good? Garcia - now that is funny. And McNabb, I think he had a problem with McNabb BECAUSE he is so highly regarded, the organization's posterboy, the darling of mgmt and coaches. He wont have that at all down here.

Just wanted to shoot those TWO things down. They seem to come up a lot

I have a question for you all ... in the miniscule chance that TO has done some soul searching, has sat back and actually re-evaluated his antics, and has decided to eat a little humble pie ... would any of you who are anti TO, be willing to give him that chance with a low risk, conditional contract? I am as skeptical as anyone where he is concerned ... I just wonder what he could bring to the team if he were to mend his ways.

If we knew for sure that he had changed, then yes. But the guy has had chance after chance after chance. He is the most selfish player I have ever seen.
