The one reason...ONE reason...that Gus is starting at all is because the coaches believe that he won't give away the game. Now that that's happened, Gus is definitely benched for sure. And thank god.

Unfortunately I dont think it will happen. I think its Frerotte for the rest of the year. Saban has already said he doesnt want a qb controversy. we need to run more

Point is Randy SHOULD have caught it. If he could have then he should have.....don't blame this all on Gus.

The hardest pass to catch is a pass thats thrown hot and high....even with his arms extended....the football was too high. Gus throws that pass a foot lower and it's 6 points.

The locker room after today will hate Gus and Linehan as much as us. The only thing to do is toss Sage in. If Saban doesn't do that, he will lose confidence in his players and fans and lose that chance at electricity we would get if a new Qb hopped in.

I am in total agreement now with Gus needing to be benched. He has had his chance and at this point he is simply playing scared IMO.

Our QB play cannot get any worse than it is right now.

frerotte sucks so badly. We have 2 GREAT running backs and he still cant hit a receiver. He is our worse starting quarterback ever. He is even worse than ray lucas.

ok, did you see that stat? no hurries, no sacks no hits on gus.....that's good protection, the excuses of a bad o line are no longer there....that was the problem with feely and he had almost the same kinds of plays with a HORRID o line that had him knocked down every play!

Who still insist that QB is not the #1 priority for this team this offseason. I can seem them now "Let's draft a center and see what Frerrotte or Rosenfels can do next year".
