If I didn't know any better, and I don't..., I would say that Gus is throwing these games... He is always making his "BAD" throws at a point in the game when the FINS could turn the game around... I agree that the "D" is on the field way too much... Even last week, it wasn't Gus that won that game, it was the rest of the offense. Today the OL allowed 0, 0, and 0 on sacks, hurries and hits on Gus... There is NO excuse for his play other than ???
 
Countdown to a new QB

I dont care if its via the Draft, FA, or a trade but we will never ever be a playoff team with Gus at the helm!!

We need a new QB and a #1 WR, because they suck too!:evil: :evil: :evil:
 
props to the O-line-0,0,0!!!!

It makes me sick that frerotte cannot play a halfway decent game our o-line did a great job! 0 SACKS 0 KNOCKDOWNS and 0 HURRIES wtf the line did its job besides a few pentalties and ferrotte stunk up the joint agian its time to give some one else a chance!!! great job o-line!!
 
Fun stat from the Atlanta Game

Gus' avg yards per attempt were 4.7

Ronnie's avg 5.6 and Ricky's avg 5.2

but hey lets Give Gus some credit ... he almost completed 60% of his passes ... but managed to hit all of his handoffs.
 
Gus finally exposed

We have been hearing so many excuses for Gus' ineptness - the WR's, the O-line, ect.... Well, Gus had 0 pressures, 0 hit, 0 knock downs, and 0 sacks. Can anyone defend him now? My god people, with that kind of protection Danny Wurffel could have won it for us today.:shakeno:
 
I dont understand the posters who still say we have nothing better. None of us knows if Sage or Cleo are worse. The only argument anyone can make is that the coaches have decided that Gus is the best option and therefore the people behind him must be worse. As far as I am concerned I have zero faith that either Linehan or Saban are good evaluators of talent at the qb position. i no longer trust their judgement and i want one of the two qbs to play out the season. saaban got rid of the best qb on our staff (which isnt saying much but says alot about saban's evaluation of qb talent)More important than us bringing in a qb next year is that saban acknowledges (not publicly, but to himself) that he screwed up in regards to the qb position. he needs to spend the entire offseason analyzing the type o0f play one needs from a qb in the nfl. only if he does that will we have a chance of bringing in a qb that can actually help us. as it stands now i'm halfway expecting us to trade for not carr not rivers but some bum like harrington. so start sage or cleo NOW!!!!!!!!! and lets see if we need three, two or one qb in the offseason
 
This entire offense makes me sick. It's disgusting, and the worst part about it is that our running game is actually starting to come around.....

The play calling sucks, and when it's 3rd and short in the closing minutes, you don't throw the ball...ever. Horrible play call be Linehan there, especially the way Ricky / Ronnie were moving the ball....

Gus is getting worse, and there's no reason to continue starting him. Sage could do no worse, and I see no reason he should be held back by a lousy journeyman like Frerotte anylonger....

We're simply wasting our time waiting for Frerotte to get into a groove. It's not going to happen. It's handcuffing our offense. 0-9 on 3rd down today, nuff said...

Just feel like reciting this..

-Sage has been railroaded his entire career so far in Washington and the Wannstedt era in Miami. It's time to cut the crap on giving Sage the schnide. The man has played well and been a model player his entire career yet he has never been given a fair chance at the starting spot. One start at Baltimore last year in the last game of the season is bull ****y. Sage has earned a chance at being a starter for a bit considering the garbage we have been through in the last 2 years.

i really dont have a prob with starting Sage or cleo at this point. The problem will never be solved with playing either of these guys when your OC insists on playing patty cake with defenses.

linehan has always had an aversion to running. hopefully he's tice's replacement in minny next year and we find a new oc
