Anderson, 29, will be joining his third different franchise in three seasons, having played four seasons for the Baltimore Ravens before signing with Buffalo as an unrestricted free agent last summer. The recent itinerant streak, however, is not a true reflection of Anderson's value.
A physical in-line blocker, Anderson was no longer a good fit in Buffalo, where new coach Dick Jauron wanted to upgrade the athleticism of his interior linemen.
Anderson may be much better suited for the Miami blocking scheme, where line coach Hudson Houck prefers more size and wants powerful drive-blockers who can knock defenders off the line of scrimmage.
