last thing that i hate doing is starting rumors, but here goes, i listen to dan cillio on the way to work every morning (central florida area sports talk guy, played for the canes in the 80's and the bucs), and he said today that he thinks favre is heading to miami, he also said that if we nail favre, then he sees us having a good chance at going to the super bowl, he said that favre and his agent, along with the packer franchise, is trying to figure out a good way to part. this guy is a huge bucs homer (even though he admitted that ronnie brown is better than caddy, it piss's me off because %90 of football that he talks about is the bucs, even though orlando is a dolphins city, but he does his show from tampa), but said that miami is really starting to build something special down here.

if someoen can verify this and find out how true this is, EXPECT, let me repeat myself, EXPECT cutler to be in miami and learn from the great.
 
This is not an update. It's the opinion of some sports guy of a station no one has heard of in Central Florida. No new information, just some guys take on it.

right....somethings things that he says makes me want to reach through my radio and slap him, but hes an ex-cane.
 
Im still not sure how i'd feel about Favre coming to Miami....he's on the downside of his career....

Favre is still racking up the numbers, but he's also racking up the INT's....almost like Dan's last year with the Phins.....

no one has heard of.....??? 740 is the only sports radio station in the area, i dont know what your doing at 7 am in the morning, but most people are going to work, in an area that covers 3.5 million people, he has the prime spot.

Look at the team he had last year. No linemen, no running backs 1 reciever.

The guy still has life left in that magical arm. With our team he will be fine.
 
Favre and TO will be on board next year. Just my opinion.
 
I don't know how I feel either. He is one of the all time greats and he still has the physical tools. You have to blame part of his bad year to lack of weapons and a bad offensive line. He loses his Javon Walker first game, Robert Ferg. missed 3/4 of the season, Bubba Franks, Ahman Green etc, etc..Traded Half his line away.
If he came here we game him a decent line with Chambers, McMichael, Booker, Welker and one other receiver, a great running game...
Hmmm???? Could work...:wink: :dolphins:
 
I wouldn't even hesitate to take a QB of the caliber of Favre into a Saban-run system. This team is well coached.
 
Favre + Mularkey and Ronnie, Chambers, McMike (maybe Marty and Ricky too) = SUCCESS!

I'd be ecstatic if Favre plays here 2-3 years while we groom a QB.
