Merged: Brett Farve threads

hey, we can dream can't we?

I would have said the same thing about Ricky playing for the fins again...

You know, I dont think Favre will throw many INTS with Miami, he was forced to make things happen in Green Bay, no one got open!

Opinions mean nothing. We want results!

Some guy in Orlando or Central Florida or wherever, why is he even talking about the Dolphins?

Favre and TO will be on board next year. Just my opinion.

and mine bro

I think saban is more agressive than we think. Once he gets the tools (cap space and his drafted guys) he'll show more than we expect, and sooner than we expect

Why would Favre wanna come to Miami he already said that if he came back he would only wanna play for green bay?

exactly and if you ask me, he has shown signs of how agressive he is. Look at the season. whoever screwed up or didnt do their job they got a nice warm seat on the bench/sidelines. If they didnt' cut it, they were flat out cut. there was no we are doing well inpractice im happy it was all we are doing this bad lest fix this and the rest before we talk abotu waht we are doing well. thats how it should be. Never satisfied with the good but rather stress the bad to make it ALL perfect and how he has been active since he came down here and RIGHT AFTER the season ended. You can tell this man sleeps, dreams, thinks, poops, eats, drinks, sweats Football and HARDCORE dedication.

i think the problem with journalists are once one starts a rumor...alot of them jump on board as to make themselves sound informed

Why would Favre come to Miami when he's played in a WCO for all of his career. If he's going to play somewhere else, it will be somewhere where he is comfortable w/ the offense IMO.

I agree, it's amazing, just amazing.
For these reasons I see guys like Favre and Owens playing for the dolphins. Think if you were one of them. You're reaching the end of your career, salivating for a ring (specially T.O.), and u see a coach like Saban, a freakin animal hard worker building something very special at miami, a great city in lots of aspects..wouldn't you be tempted to do WHATEVER necessary to be part of it?

Let me pre-order my Favre Jersey.....lol! I did go to college in Buffalo, and I did waste my money on a Thurman jersey. It was great walking around Buffa-blo for 6 weeks with that jersey though:D

I have heard the last thing Favre wants to do is learn a new offense! I will believe it when I see it.

I'm sure Marino would enjoy Farve breaking his all time TD mark in a phin uniform. I believe he's only 20 something away. Anyway, this ain't gonna happen, the guy is finished. When an NFL QB gets too old to play, it becomes readily apparent, as it did for Favre last year.

I personally just don't see this happening. I love Favre, and I think he is a great QB. But I think his true greatness is in the past. I just don't seem him coming here like I couldn't see Marino going to Minnesota. How strange was it to see Montana in a Chiefs uniform?

I trust Saban and if Favre is an option and he takes it, I would support it. I would just prefer to see Favre retire a Packer... Without the "one last chance" with another team.

Favre is just like Dan, he is 100 % for his team. It would be a wrench for him to leave the Packers, just like it was with Dan. I would be very surprised if brett ever left the Pack for the Fins, as I think he is just like dan
