MERGED: Dion Jordan suspended 4 games

There goes his chances of winning the starting job from Vernon. I not gonna say he's a bust but not starting by your 2nd year and being a third overall pick I can say that it was a waste of a top pick.
 
Jesus people this kid gave us next to nothing last year and we still came very close to the playoffs. We will be ok until he returns
 
Wonder what his trade value is now maybe we can trade him to the eagles for a decent pick. Damn I was hoping he would challenge Vernon for the starting spot and now he's one slip up away form being suspended for a year.

you sure that's right??? and if he has failed one prior how come we never heard about it??? do they not have to release the offender info on a first time offense???

Yea. Wake clearly hasnt used anything to go from CFL player to one of the most built and destructive DEs in the NFL despite being over 30 years old.
 
Silver lining is that he was most likely gonna be the backup to Vernon anyway, lets see what Fede can do on the edge!

Dude Jameis Winston blows almost as much as EJ Manuel. How would drafting Winston help anything. That would make the situation much worse.

This is why we shouldve drafted Murray or one of the other good QBs this year.
 
anyone who says he wasn't being depended on this year is off their loop...he was set to rush in the subpackage on the edge and shifted inside in a pinch...basically they were depending on him to win on the edge against nfl tackles this year so they can rush vernon inside and also in a rotation to keep wake and vernon fresh on early downs...

it's a big damn deal to lose the most explosive athlete on your defense even for 4 games...now i'm REALLY wishing we had signed a plugger dt for the run game...better hope vernon shows up the first 4 games cause i can tell ya the oppositions gonna roll protection to wakes side and make the other guys win against their blockers one on one when and if we do get teams behind the sticks and roll out the subpackage
 
Why? The Buffalo LB from Oregon tore his ACL and is out for the year. Since Pouncey's absense was already taken into account, the Bills' recent loss hurts them more.

winston reads the field and coverage and goes thru progressions better than ej manuel ever dreamed of doing...if ej manuel ever got off his primary in college i sure didn't see it
